The Peking Duck was phenomenal, crispy and juicy. the staff is friendly and quick, and by quick I mean they were bolting down the aisles with those carts. The sweet tea there is so good I need the recipe because it blows anything I've had out of the water in taste. All over worth the price.

First time visiting, was there for my Birthday dinner...food was very good...you get alot for your money...will visit again soon

Best Asian food in Lee County. You can try anything on the menu. It’s all pretty good. Go get some family style entries (they each come with rice) and try several things. The black pepper filet was a favorite as well as the spicy fried fish. The fried dumplings are always perfect. They are also very fast even with a full restaurant. Taste of Asia don’t play around!

Great experience and delicious food ! Will be back ! Highly recommend the filet mignon and black pepper sauce, shrimp shumai, edamame, and roasted duck soup

This Asian restaurant is amazing. The price is cheaper but the food is so delicious. I love their boba tea, seafood, egg plants, soup. Can’t wait to come here again!

I was a little skeptical that there was a Chinese restaurant inside of an Asian Supermarket, but after seeing good reviews on Yelp minus the few outliers, I wanted to give it a shot.We went and ordered inside before starting our shopping (which was very convenient by the way). And they were basically done by the time we paid for our groceries and loaded it up in the truck. The inside of the restaurant looked clean. The ladies that worked there were very quick and efficient.I ordered one Sweet and Sour chicken which was really good. The sauce wasn't like any other I've tried in a good way.Their chicken lo mein was great!! The noodles weren't over cooked. The chicken was nice and tender. And it wasn't overly salty like most Chinese places are.And last but not least, the General Tso chicken was the best I've ever had. I always order a general tso chicken at a Chinese restaurant to predict how the other meals would be and omg it did not disappoint.I asked for extra spicy too and it was perfect. I think I found my Chinese spot and sticking to it!This place is WORTH every penny! And their lunch special prices are more than affordable.

Taste of Asia has an incredible menu that provides guests with many fantastic options. Every menu item that I have tried has been excellent and I am always excited to go back for more! The staff is helpful and friendly, and the dining experience is cozy. If you are looking for an incredible, authentic Chinese dining experience, I would highly recommend Taste of Asia!

Taste of Asia is a great place to find truly authentic asian tasting food. Located inside a market, all their food is fresh and very tasty. They have the most delicious green beans I've ever had and the roast duck is by far some of the best tasting duck I've ever had. Definitely try this place out! It's a great restaurant to take friends and family and provide a fun atmosphere you will all remember. Awesome!!! I look forward to going again!

My wife and I dine on a roughly monthly basis at Taste of Asia, our favorite restaurant in the Auburn/Opelika area, ever since we moved to Auburn in 2019. This authentic Szechuan/Cantonese restaurant is located inside an excellent Asian supermarket in a strip mall with plentiful parking. Thankfully the supermarket is very clean and has no bad smells like some lesser ones do. The restaurant décor is simple yet stylish, featuring both tables and comfortable booths for four, as well as three tables which each seat up to twelve people in a semi-private room in the back of the restaurant. Service can be a bit uneven, but overall is pleasant and efficient, and often the food arrives remarkably fast after ordering. Note that each dish is brought out as soon as it's done (which is a good thing as Chinese food should be eaten immediately out of the wok), so dishes which take longer to prepare may arrive significantly later, including appetizers which sometimes arrive last. The menu features many authentic Szechuan and Cantonese dishes which you definitely should consider sampling, but even the Americanized dishes such as General Tso's Chicken are prepared far better than in your typical Americanized Chinese restaurant (for example, they use light batters and high quality meat, resulting in delectable crispy fried meats). Sampling the menu will take many visits as it contains 203 dishes, although that does include 25 lunch specials which are smaller portion versions of their dinner counterparts. Some of our favorite dishes are the Mala Beef, the Pork & Bamboo Shoots, the Hot & Spicy Chicken Chengdu Style, the Zhibao Lamb, the Sweet & Sour Shrimp, the Beef with Green Scallion, the Sizzling Chicken with Black Pepper Sauce, and the Shrimp Wonton Soup. Portion sizes are generous and prices are very reasonable. In summary, if you desire excellent prepared, authentic Chinese cuisine in the Auburn/Opelika area, and if you're not too picky on décor and have reasonable expectations of the service, then without a doubt your best option is Taste of Asia!
