Doesn't look like a winner from the outside but don't let that fool you. For one thing they have a good set up for togo orders as one door walks right up to the desk. The food is really good. Special,which is something I don't usually say about Mexican food. This is definitely worth a try. Located off the main drag a little. From my house it is an easy go using back roads only. It is close enough to the Historic section of Opelika or to the town center to make it a contender if you are in that area for fun. Also it looked like there was a backdoor to outside seating. That would be nice in this rather quiet area.
Ordered 20 minutes ahead of time for my very short lunch break. Still didn't have it ready when I got there despite only a handful of customers in the store. It was only 3 tacos and it took nearly 40 minutes. So I missed my entire lunch break and was late getting back. Thanks.DO NOT ORDER ONLINE AND EXPECT IT TO BE READY WHEN YOU GET THERE.
The food wasn't awful but is not as advertised. There were keys missing ingredients to both of the dishes we ordered. Also, you have to clear your own dishes from the table so take that into account when tipping at the register.
Food items here are a little more expensive than it seems they should be, but it is very tasty and they have lots of yummy meat options for tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and chimichangas.
Always good & consistent. We usually order off door dash so we have never been inside or dealt with staff but food is always excellent. I’m from So California, it’s hard to find good Mexican food here, but this place is a good find.
Wonderful tacos! We ate inside and took a bag home to our kids. Taco Tuesday is a must!!!
Great food the few times I have eaten here. I forget that it's there because of the location and I don't go to the area that often. I will definitely set myself a reminder so when I'm in the area I will be sure to stop. It really is great food ?
Girl that took our order could not have been more rude or condescending. When I questioned if they charged extra for using a debit card to pay, she went off on me. (No other restaurant in this entire area does this.) In addition, their prices have skyrocketed. (Example: $16 for cheese nachos!) El Ranchero and Durango food is far better, cheaper and they treat you like they want you to come back, something we will not do here.

Took forever for an order to be ready that I calledcin 2.5 hrs before. Then when I received order they had to refund berthed had no guacamole. They only gave 1 small bag of chips for salsa and cheese dip which both are to come with chips.
