First of all, the food was not the problem. Our waitress was God awful. My wife didn't get a refill on her soda and I got a margarita when I asked for a corona-rita. I had to make sure that I wasn't charged for tortillas because we never got them. If you tried to keep us from coming back, congratulations you did it. We are running back to Laredo.

This is by far our favorite Mexican restaurant in our area, we have only ever had great food and great service. Until our last visit when we unfortunately had Eva as a server. First we could barely place our drink orders before she was walking away without giving us time to order an appetizer my friend had to literally raise his voice to get her to come back. When he asked if they had a Mexican beer on tap she said no when they actually did have one. I was a server for over 1

Such wonderful food! Excellent service. ALL of the employees seemed happy, the food was hot and delicious. Prompt service, polite, and friendly. We will be going back again, our new favorite place. ♡

This is honestly the worst "Mexican food" that I have ever tasted. I placed an online order while traveling out of town for over 50 dollars. After picking up the food and returning to my hotel after a long 8 hour drive, I find lacking eating utensils, the order was prepared incorrectly, and the food was tasteless. I would recommend buying food from Kroger located 0.1 miles away or picking food out of a dumpster...or avoiding this disgraceful excuse for restaurant. Order 3465492 from 04/16/2022.

Good food but bathrooms are awful! Broken stalls, missing half of the toilet paper holder in handicap stall, stall wall is rusted out on the floor and I can’t tell when they cleaned the bathroom last. It’s so gross!!

The food was so good and you get your money worth also. Plus the frozen margaritas are off the chain. Also they have a great atmosphere there and the waiters are on point also. Plus they are very reasonable also. I will be going back real soon. ??????

We hadn't visited the new location of El Patron so we made it happen about 2 weeks ago. We were excited to see the "new" El Patron. The first thing I noted were several "warning" signs of what not to do etc. Made it sound like there had been lots of theft by customers. The front end "greeters were not friendly. We were hurriedly taken to a seat by someone with out a greeting. (Sunday night so not super busy.) The front end people were dressed in cheerful-looking blouses but they weren't too cheerful. Our server was good. The food was not as plentiful as it used to be. My husband actually wanted something to snack on when we go home. :( He enjoyed his chicken dish and sides. I had chicken tacos and the meat was dry, rice and beans without much flavor. It was not appetizing to see a literal ball of hair blowing around on the floor. When someone dropped a napkin, I watched at least 5 employees walk right over it before a server finally swooped down to pick it up. When asking where the restroom was a server acted like it was a problem and pointed in the general direction. Perhaps we just hit a bad night as I see this restaurant crowded many days/nights. That being said, it will be a while before I try eating there again. We have more choices now in our area.

Our waitress along with the staff were awesome. No issues there. It was a very fun and friendly environment. However, the review is in regards to the food. Not sure the deal but we showed up right after they opened for lunch. Everything we ordered was bland with no seasoning. My husband said his beef tasted strange. My shrimp was eh. Had to dump a bunch of hot sauce on them. The best part was the chips and salsa and the margaritas lol. We definitely have had better in the area, so scout out some other options!

Great food and atmosphere, great price as well.

The customer service is PATHETIC. Attended a bridal shower there and one of the managers previously agreed to let the Bridal Party use the back portion of the restaurant for the event. On the day of, the owner did not honor the provisions that were communicated with one of his managers. He sent one of his workers to remove items off the table we were using without even acknowledging us. After the shower was over and everyone received their bill, the owner gave the wedding coordinator a bill for $300 as a fee for using the space because he said was not aware of the reservation and his employee that the bridal party made reservations with was out of town on a cruise.
