My family's first time there and it was a great experience. We had The catfish and chicken fried steak. We finished with some banana pudding!! I highly recommend! It was very good!!
The food was delicious! It was our first time eating here and I promise you we will be back. Even the cake was very good. I will give 10 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mae’s Southern Cafe has the best soul food ever!!!!! And the prices are very reasonable. I tried the chicken and dressing with two sides & babyyyyy it was the bomb. Idk who in the kitchen but they are doing a wonderful job. ?? keep up the good work!!!!!!!
This was my first time eating here and the food was delicious. I had chicken and dumplings, yams, Mac-n-cheese, cornbread and banana pudding. I almost ate the plate it came in. ?
We eat here about twice a month and the food is always good. I mean who doesn't like southern home cooking for lunch or dinner. Their food is always good. I have tried almost ever thing on their menu and I haven't been disappointed. Don't forget to try their Banana pudding for desert!!
Friday fish fry!! Doesn’t get any better than this. Great fish and the sides were great too. If your looking for a great fish fry that’s also a great value, this is your place.
Soul food. It’s all unbelievably delicious and on point. The cakes are even more fire ? Them ole women can cook!!! Sure know how to make a new white boy feel welcome??
I love love love this place. The catfish, chicken and dressing, turkey wings, oxtails, hamburger steak, chicken and dumpling, hot wings, fries green tomatoes, bake beans, slaw, cabbage, collards greens, peas, mac&cheese, green beans, cakes, cheeseburgers, everything is good and fresh. I’ve had it all! I wish they would stay open a just lil longer?. It’s good y’all.
Outstanding food and nice portion for the price you pay, I order the hamburger steak with gravy and onions my side were collard greens and mash potatoes and dish came with a corn bread everything was just delicious and filling.
