I can only speak on the chopped pork because that’s what I picked up to go, but it was really good. Overall, some of the best in the area, and much batter than some of the more ‘popular’ places. The BBQ sauce was also good. Will definitely be going back.
Great food, just need to update hours of operation!
They never follow they're own posted hours of operation and when they do they may orsy not have the food you're wanting.

Yes this restaurant always has the best pulled pork barbecue wonderful wonderful cheeseburgers everything on the menu can’t go wrong ribs included however call after five to make sure they haven’t ran out yet because they sell out daily and have to close early sometimes
I’ve been fortunate to eat bbq for over five decades from Texas to North Carolina and all over Alabama from Athens to Mobile. It would hard to select a final four restaurants, however naming the worst of the lot is easy. It’s Hick’s barbecue sandwich. Everyone’s criteria is different. Besides taste, tenderness, and appearance, I judge whether or not the bun’s sides touch. More often if there’s enough meat to prevent the bun sides touching, then there’s a good chance the cue is good. Yep, Hick’s sandwich failed that test. If you are satisfied with mediocre barbecue, then Hick’s fits your order. Drive a little farther, get better que.

Omg this is by some of if not the best bbq I've ever had . I'm an over the road truck driver n I call myself a bbq officonado. This is definitely a must stop .I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Potato salad bake beans were awesome n omg the ribs fall off the bone n the flavor is amazing. I give them 10 ? ?
