Well my second time eating here they unfortunately got the to go order wrong! Yes, I should've checked before I got home 25 miles away, but when I called back and told the lady she gonna say she sorry but didn't try to make it right! If I pay for extra items I want ALL of it! Nobody just wanna pay for something and not receive it that's why it was ordered. You suppose to make it right not say u don't wanna do anything about it!! That's business and keeping a good name!! Right your WRONGS!!

The people here are so sweet! Thick yummy queso that actually stays on your chip! Best steak fajitas in town.

Seated immediately, had the server recommended #32 Mexican style carnitas with rice, beans, and lettuce and it was amazing! Went back 3 days later and me and my wife both got it again!

The food was delicious, try the el patron dip its SO good.

El Gran Patron invited us in to check their food out. Needless to say, we definitely will be back. Overall, 5/5! We’ve never tried El Gran Patron before, but it’s definitely worth checking out and is substantially better than most of what’s offered. Tuscaloosa is overloaded with Mexican restaurants but we have to say this place was actually really good. We got the Mexican style tacos (chicken, shrimp and steak) and the Patron Pollo Loco. The meat was packed with flavor and had some of the best cheese sauce. The refried beans are delicious and in Logan’s top 2. Thanks for inviting us @elgranpatronal ! We will see y’all again soon

The food and service was great. I will definitely be returning for more.

This is my favorite Mexican place in town! Service was great, food great, and atmosphere fun.

This is my favorite restaurant in town! We come here multiple times a week. My food is always delicious, and the servers are great. They’ve become our family ❤️ we love this place so much! You won’t be disappointed.

The food was so delicious and staff was so niceeeee.

The servers are always very nice. The food is always good. I wish there were less loud, college-age kids. A tiny bit pricey, although I did get a lot. However I was a little disappointed that they were out of Trés Leches Cheese Cake, after seeing a print out about it on the table.
