visited Captain D's in Northport, AL extremely hungry. but was extremely disappointed! i can only think i must have went on a bad day! ordered the Deluxe Seafood Platter. ate 2 of the butterflied shrimp which were totally not done! fish was yucky & ended up throwing entire $11.00 meal in garbage! this worse experience i've ever had @ Captain D's!
Went into restaurant on Sunday afternoon to get 1 plate to go... I stood at the register for 12 minutes before I was greeted there were maybe 3 people in there who were already seated. The cashier literally looks me in the face and continues on her way still hasn't spoke or taken my order.... Finally takes my order and is extremely rude. There were 3 people literally just standing in the back doing nothing. My order was placed in the bagging area and sat there for 07 minutes I then had to ask same cashier who mind you had no customers for my cold food. I love Captain D's but I refuse to let anyone treat me like that especially when I'm spending the money that makes their paycheck! Until something is done with the staffing there I'll not be back and I will inform anyone else about the situation.
Things have definitely declined here... It's not what it use to be. 7-8yrs ago this was a decent fish restaurant, but now it's run down and dirty. It's like no one cares. When was bare minimum acceptable in the hospitality business?

Don’t go here if you are in a hurry. Currently sat in drive thru behind one car for 25 minutes. I pull up and they tell me to pull up and park and they will bring it out. They are not even busy and there are several workers inside. So they are not short staffed. Just slow!!!! And pathetic. It’s a good thing they don’t have a real job. They would never make it! Absolutely pitiful
I believe the drive thru was closed or the speaker wasn't working. No sign up to notify people. Myself and another vehicle in the queue decided to leave after 5 minutes. No vehicles were at the window nor in the usual parking lot spaces waiting on an order. Wednesdays must be dine in only
Had a coupon, buy a three dinner, get a two piece dinner free. They honored the coupon and the food was good. A school project sold me the coupon book. Everywhere I have presented the coupon, including here, it take forever and calling the manager to get the coupon processed. Not much training going on.
Drive through wasn't busy.Ordering was great, young lady was so nice ans. Question and being patient with us.Didnt try to rush us had nice attitude.Food was ok this visit.Not hot like normal.Fries miss.
Ordered Country style for ( SENIOR)with drink& lemon peppered whitefish & drink. They said all they had was large drinks, charged my husband for the senior drink but mine was a large. Both in large cup. Then when our meal came our fish was tooooo hard. So much so my husband couldn't eat 1 1/2 of the 2 pieces he received!!! I scrapped the top off THE fish that wasn't so hard I couldn't eat it!!! And the rice under my fish wasn't right. It was like I received old rice with newer rice, but NOT fresh. JUST THOUGHT I'D LET YOU KNOW.
