Absolutely love the food and service!!! It's a VIBE!!! I had the Louisiana Combo and it was plentiful, hot and fresh!! We had a lovely waitress hat was patient and kind due to we didn't know what we wanted. Definitely, a must-try!! This was my after, sorry I didn't get a before...
Great service and greatfood
Walk-ons was disappointing on my last visit. As I walked into the restaurant I stood at the front hostess stand waiting for someone to seat me for 5 minutes. As several waitresses and waiters walked by me and none acknowledged that I was waiting. The hostess finally showed me to my seat. I have had the Shrimp and Grits several times before and the dish is usually exceptional. Today the food was bland and not even warmed up all the way. Maybe they just had a bad day.imp
Went here recently with my mom just to change things up for the normal routine. We were seated quickly as we arrived just before the evening crowds and were seated in a side room. This is summer but in this area where seated, the air conditioning was pretty breezy. Was fine for me but my elderly mother was a bit chilled from the air. The place does what it intends with a great sports bar atmosphere with plenty of TVs throughout. Our waitress came took a bit before she got to our table and after bringing our drinks, I mistakenly asked for a couple more minutes to decide. Took her a while to get back to our table to take our order. We had both had a big lunch this day so we decided to split some of the hamburger sliders. While it took a while to get the food, the sliders were delicious. I also ordered a side of onion rings that were great as well because I liked the fact that they were not greasy and had a little spicy kick to them. I can’t say anything about the rest of the menu but all in all was good food and good experience. If you take out the wait time to have our order taken and the wait time for the food to arrive, I would give it 4 stars.
Walk ons is a great place to eat, I've only been there a few times but service is great and so is the food, it was very consistent every time I've been there. Menu is pretty diverse also which makes it easy to please everyone.
Fantastic cajundillas! Great serving many brews to choose from. Just ask for your favorite sporting event on the TV closest to you and you are good to goa
I’m in town for a few days for work. Got off late and sat down at baumhowers and they wouldn’t wait on me. The girl poured my beer and continued to make other peoples drinks for 15 minutes before I walked out.Called my buddy that lives down here and he said to come here. Not disappointed at all. The staff is friendly and got to me quick. The beer is cold, and even though everyone is screaming at the TV I don’t even mind.Louisiana themed food? Yes please. Haven’t been back to New Orleans since the great coof of 2019. Got the gator wrap, but was eyeing the crawfish etouffee.The wrap wasn’t what I expected, but it was dang good. And the garlic aoli was delicious on the fries! I’ll be back before I leave town, for sure.
