The best customer service I have had for my 2 day stay in Montgomery, hot fresh food and the nicest people. Our company will be back to Montgomery and this is where we will be dining. Thank you ladies you are all great

Miss San and Miss Shantel were the only sisters holding the restaurant down at 7:45 pm on July 2, 2022 while I was visiting Montgomery, AL. They were joyful, pleasant and fast. My medium steak scrambled eggs and hash browns with veggies and cheese were all 5 outta 5 Stars. Thank you, sisters for your Southern hospitality. Ase'.
We weren't allowed inside this waffle house we had to order at a walk up window then return to our car and check back to see if the food was ready. We also don't get alerted when its ready. You just have 2 check back. They had 2 police officers on site sitting in their vehicle at the front door. It felt kinda eerie standing outside ? but the food was perfect ?
I called to ask if it was dine in and was told yes. When I arrived I was told to go only. When I stated I called and was told I could dine in the server said yeah. I asked why I was told dine in to which she shrugged her shoulders and said I don't know. The restaurant was completely empty except for the employees and the employees small children.
Service is extremely slow even though they were fully staffed. But the food is good. They focus on the to go orders first. The main problem I had was the panhandling inside the restaurant in front of the managers. Dude went around table to table looking for someone to buy him a meal. I almost had sympathy until he followed me outside to ask for money while they were fixing his food. I politely declined when he became aggressive and threatening towards me. Not worth the hassle go somewhere else to be safe.
I may have just came at the right time but this was one of the cleanest Waffle House I’ve been to

I work down the street from waffle house and I CALL them and they NEVER answer the phone. It's very frustrating when you want to call ahead a order and they NEVER answer the phone, so you have to go there and wait for 20 minutes . I have called them the past YEAR at least 20 times and they haven't answered once. I figured maybe they're busy but you get there and it's very slow inside and you see the phone ringing and no one answers it. They have lost my business for ever, I am switching to IHOP. I guess they don't need the money. OH and i work in a office with several people, at least 3 of us are always trying to get food from there.. There goes hundreds/thousands extra dollars to Ihop yearly..
The Texas Bacon Cheesesteak plate includes hashbrowns and was delicious! The waitress was friendly, fast, efficient. The building and parking lot could use some maintenance. This restaurant is just across the street from HI Express. Walkable.
