Consistently rewarding experience. We recently enjoyed live music outside before taking our table. Our servers, Brian and Ruthie, were prompt, helpful and enjoyable. The food is delicious!
I travel a lot for work and gets to try a lot of restaurants. This is one of the best I've been to in the past 4 years. The food is delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant and relaxing. Definitely say yes to ordering dessert as well!
Vintage Year perfect spot for a nice dinner. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, and the ingredients are somewhat daring. While some dishes were truly inspired, a few lacked the flavor interest and culinary flair to justify the price. However, nothing we ordered left us disappointed. The drink menu leaves nothing to be desired; the signature cocktails are intentional and delicious, and the wine list is generous. The staff are wonderfully attentive and know the menu well enough to provide thoughtful recommendations. Be sure to make reservations to ensure you have a seat!
Food preparation and presentation was amazing. Atmosphere was nice. Wait staff was friendly and responsive. Only discrepancy was they were out of my first food choice. Wine List made up for it! 4.5 stars.
The service was top-notch. I arrived early for my reservation which was welcomed without issue. The food was excellent all the way down to dessert.
The food is delish and the staff is great!
Our tour guide made a reservation for us and other people on the tour. One person called to cancel her single reservation. The restaurant mistakenly cancelled our reservation as well minutes before we arrived. (We had taken an Uber the rather long distance from our hotel.) People had already been seated at what would have been our table. Instead of trying to accommodate us or acknowledge their mistake, we were treated rudely, told us we would be treated as walk-ins, and would be seated when a table opened up. After that we were ignored. We waited 30 minutes while others with later reservations came in and were seated. We finally gave up and took an Uber back to the hotel. We will insist that the tour director take this restaurant off their list of recommended restaurants.
My husband ordered the Wagyu steak and was very pleased with his meal, I had the duck pasta and found it lacking a little in the flavor department. The star of the evening was the octopus appetizer and great wine list! We will be back, there was lots on the menu that looked great
Food was good, seated late for reservation, service was extremely slow. House signature old fashion cocktail was prepared without orange slice or cherry. When manager stopped by I showed him cocktail and said bartender needed more training, he replied bartender didn't do garnishes, waiter did. Made no attempt to rectify situation. Very expensive for average meal
Quaint hole in the wall local restaurant. Food is good, but somewhat pricey. Not a lot of variety. Not a lot of vegan/vegetarian offerings. On Tuesday they have a “hamburger” night and there is a bean burger, vegetarian not vegan. One time they advertised them but didn’t make them. Outside it is a yard sale look. Chairs, tables stacked, rarely used. The menu board is difficult if impossible to read, as it is so old and unattended. Reservations must be done on-line and offer little options. The manager is very helpful and attentive, some of the seating people not so much. I would give the food 4 stars and the building and overall service a 3. If they make improvements to exterior and more menu options I’m confident they’d get a solid 5.
