Incredibly flavorful food without being overpowering. Been here a few times and have been completely satisfied each time. If you get the chance to take one of the rare cooking classes, do it. It is fun, entertaining and delicious
Excellent! The ham, egg, and cheese arepa was fantasitc. The cornmeal shell was crispy, and so delicious. It was big enough to split. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.
I normally go here and no issues. My stepsister and I went here for a coffee today (4/21) and I got my coffee no issues, but my stepsister ordered a special drink and asked the guy working if he couldmake it, he said yes he had everything except the raspberry flavor and she said okay and double checked with him and asked no coffee and he said okay. When the drink was finished she tried it (it looked and tasted nothing like the drink she had ordered and it had coffee base in it and she cannot have coffee). We asked for another coffee and while it may have been tense he started getting an attitude with us and had a very ugly tone. When asked to get the manager he walked away said he would came back with no manager. I politely asked if we could have a different drink when he came back he said “You guys should have said that in the first place instead of making a big deal out of it” and I told him I did ask in the beginning. The workers attitude was very inappropriate, and very unprofessional. When we were leaving I politely told him to have a good day and he just looked at me with an ugly attitude. Will not be visiting the Cafe again.
My White Chocolate Mocha with the syrups I asked for tasted like water.

Go here. Flat out. If you're a local or a tourist. The food is spectacular, especially their corn pancakes and plantains. The prices are about standard for a meal out, but the quality and amount of food you receive are absolutely worth it. The woman who runs the kitchen is warm and inviting, like visiting a family member's house for dinner rather than a restaurant and even made up a dish on the spot for a customer who couldn't decide what she wanted. Overall a must-eat.
We really enjoyed our meals. The owner/chef is a delight. Every Friday they serve a different international dish. Wish were local to visit here more often.
A festival of international flavors! A must if you happen to be in Montgomery. The crazy eggs were delicious a so was the the “criollo” breakfast. Very friendly staff.
Ok. My husband loved the coffee. But I thought the coffee was a little stale.
