My 1st visit to Taco Mama...I'm impressed! I have been hearing so many great things about this franchise restaurant and I understand why. I let my daughter order for me, as it's one of her favorite places. We both had 2 soft chicken tacos with numerous choices of add ins (there's numerous choices) queso, street corn, and of course, freshly made chips and salsa,?? Everything had a freshly made taste. Large portions, as well. Very friendly customer service! Definitely a new addition to my restaurant list located near me. I love the choice of outside dining, as thats a rare opportunity. With record heat index of 105°, just too hot for this visit! Also, an extremely large list of margaritas, which sounds delicious, but I had a long drive ahead of me so I couldn't partake. ??? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
First time back in a couple years and everything was wonderful. We waited in a long line which took 10-15 minutes. We ordered the street tacos. After finding a table to sit in the inside our food was out in five minutes. The tacos were very filling and full. The salsa was good with a tiny bit of spice. The queso I ordered as a side was very thick and creamy. Street corn was very flavorful and delicious. They have the best thin chips to dip in the salsa. Everything was fast and wonderful. Will definitely be back.
Our visit was great! The chorizo is phenomenal as well as the margaritas. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely will be back!

Food taste is slightly above average, but the portion size is tiny for the price. I realize prices are up, but several other similar places around town still have a couple tacos for significantly cheaper. The taco size is what I would expect on a 3 taco basket, not a 2 taco basket. If the shells are that small, you have to fill them with a lot of stuff. These are both small and thinly filled.
Everyone was so friendly. Fresh food. Thankfully, we were able to enjoy warm temps and sit outside. We love the Sampler. I wish we had one in Prattville.
I enjoyed this restaurant and the food is very good. I like the variety of choices and good staff. I like the price and the open floor plan of the restaurant. I appreciate the seriousness to ensure those in my family who are celiac can get gluten free food without crosscontamination. We will visit again and again.
White or silver hair was in my salsa!! Picked up a to go order. Disgusting!!
I really liked the environment and the staff was helpful. I think I just ordered the wrong thing. I wanted shrimp nachos and my expectation was a dish kinda like the one at another Mexican. Restaurant I frequent and instead I got a plate of chips with grill shrimp and cheese sauce....I was thinking I could have done this at home because it seemed there was no effort at all put into it and we ordered extra shrimp. We both said darn we should HV just ordered a TACO. BUTTTTT the Margherita SWIRL made me forget about the plate of chips...and anything else for that matter.... uuuuwwwwww-weeeeeee!!!! So I'd likely just choose Taco Mama for the DRINKS and eat before I get there.
