The food was good and our server was very nice but I found out something about Red Lobster that I don't like. I had been told by servers at other restaurants that if you leave a tip on a credit card, some restaurants won't give it to the server so I always leave cash. I was informed that servers at Red Lobster have to split their tips left on a credit card with the bartender and bus person. PLEASE come prepared to any restaurant with cash for a tip. This person works 2 jobs just to make a living.

Sorry to post a negative review but I feel compelled to. I have eaten at Red Lobster often in the past but not recently. The RL at Eastdale Circle was really good in the past. Unfortunately it has really gone downhill. Our server was pleasant and attentive. However, the food was very bland and we did not enjoy our meal at all. The dining room seemed in need of an update. Although we came on a late afternoon, early evening Saturday, there were almost no cars in the parking lot. That was a clue I wish we had not ignored.

I rarely post negative comments because I believe the smarter option is simply don't use the business again. Unfortunately, tonight's visit to this Red Lobster was a disappointment. We arrived 41 minutes before closing at 9:19PM. The restaurant was out of salmon and baked potatoes. I ordered clam chowder and was told they would not start more chowder and was given extra shrimp. We had to ask for silverware three times and my wife finally said we would take plastic instead. Her burger was so dry she took one bite. A table of six people got one round of biscuits after asking. The waitress doubted we would get those. It was clear the restaurant team was determined to go home. The waitress tried to apologize over and over and over again. The bright side was most of the food wasn't bad; it was bland but not bad.

The only thing worse than the food was the service. Got sides way after getting “main course” and they (rice and broccoli) were severely undercooked or rotting (the salad). The server checked on us maybe twice and we went without a drink refill the whole time. Contemplated walking out when we waited twenty minutes for the check. Can’t blame it on understaffed because tables around us received better service ??‍♀️

The staff at this Red Lobster was phenomenal. The host greeted us and respectfully said there was a 10 minute wait. There were 3 waitresses on staff with a good number of people there. Once we were seated, our waitress was busy so, she simply told us she would be right with us. Immediately after that, we got our drink orders from another staff member. He checked on us until she got back to us. She gave us an extra potato. The food was cooked very well. Brussel sprouts are to die for. Great job guys.

My family and I dined at the Montgomery, Alabama location on 05/12/2022 for our youngest child's 13th birthday. She requested to have her birthday dinner at Red Lobster because at other locations we frequently visited, the food and service have always been consistently amazing. Unfortunately, this is not what took place that evening. The food was over salted and over-cooked. We ordered mussels as an appetizer. The server first brought out Brussel sprouts. When I corrected his mistake, he brought out a bowl of mussels, without the bowl to release the steam, without the small fork with the lemon wedge, and without the garlic bread, which later came; hard and cold. We also ordered mozzarella cheese sticks that were cold and not golden brown. The marinara was cold as well. On to salads, my daughters and I all ordered Ceaser salads, however, they received their's and I did not. However, what they received was overdressed and limp. My spouse requested Italian dressing and never received that, nor a vinegar and oil option. Our entrees were terrible! My wife ordered a pick two with a medium sirloin and Walt's friend. She received a medium-rare steak and no shrimp. When I corrected the server again, he brought out a shrimp scampi. I corrected him again, and he produced the most over-salted fried shrimp ever. The birthday girl ordered Lobster fest and my youngest ordered an Ultimate Feast and her crab legs were watery and unflavorful. The flounder on my pick two was old and flavorless. I spent 167.17 dollars for the food we left all on the table. Her birthday dinner was ruined and I haven't even spoken about the fact that we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated in front of a bathroom that wreaked of urine. I was a server at a Red Lobster for 5 years in two states and have visited one in just about every state and I have NEVER had such a terrible experience. We left hungry and sick. I am not on hypertensive medication but I was literally sick for the next two days and so was my spouse. This location needs major assistance from corporate or I fear they may kill someone. It is clear that the corporate recipes are not being followed, nor is the pride being upheld to the normal standard that Darden Restaurants are usually at.

We where a party of four. My food is always great, except the stuffed mushrooms have the recipe change? I live in Selma Alabama. I Love red lobster. My family don't like me to pick the restaurant. Because it's always red lobster for me .The waitress was great.

Went in on 4/8/22 to dine in the waiter told us it would be a 10 minute wait well after waiting 25 minutes we finally got a table. I’m 32 weeks pregnant and became very irritated. I ordered a lobster tail and shrimp Alfredo my lobster tail was undercooked and it instantly made me sick My husband got create your own feast the trio platter his food was fine. I’ve never had a problem with this establishment until now. Hopefully if I choose to go back that it will be better

The waiter was really friendly and recommended the meal..

Went at 1pm for lunch. 25 minute wait for a table as there were only 3 servers and plenty of empty tables. 23 minutes later, a group of 20 entered with a reservation (no offense to them) but I couldn't wait forever. Hostess didn't care in the least. When I told her we were leaving, all she said was OK. Left and went to Juicy Seafood. Sat right down and had my food in 14 minutes. Won't go to Red Lobster again.
