It was awesome and packed! The line was fast and the cafeteria style food was great! I will definitely go back.
The food was good, but the hostess at the counter had a crazy attitude. She rolled her eyes and snatched the receipt when we asked to split the ticket (even though we called ahead an hour before and said there were two separate to go orders). I get it was a fundraiser night and very busy, but still act somewhat professional. Just an awkward/bad vibe.
Food not too bad. Fells like fast food more than sit-down place. Smoked turkey is good.
Great service and good food. Sides were on point (hashbrown casserole and tater salad). Also get the mudpie (pudding and oreos). They didn't have brisket or sausage though like many BBQ places will have but you'll be happy with the pulled pork and turkey for sure!
Staff was courteous and got the multiple orders ready quickly even though it was busy!
I was very disappointed when I visited this location. Although the menu displayed at the order counter lists a dozen entrees including catfish, salads and sides, at 6:45 p.m. on a slow Tuesday night, Moe's Original Barbecue had NO barbecue. They only had smoked chicken wings or pulled pork. I can assume it is wise to call and check the menu before traveling to this location. On a positive note, the bartender and cashier were nice!
Good pork sandwich. That banana pudding was pretty good! It is not really like traditional banana pudding with the bananas and the cookie. But the cream taste homemade or at least hooked up and it was good! And they got happy hour so I definitely will be visiting them again.
The wings were dry, mac and cheese was Kraft status, and the sweet potato cassarole was just very basic. Limited beer selection. Hostess was nice. Search for the best BBQ in Alabama continues.
Ate there for the 1st time. Food was good and staff was friendly. Try the smoked wings they were really good.
I had the bama pulled pork sandwich with baked beans and mac & cheese. Everything was great! Next time I will ask for extra Alabama white sauce because I loved it! The baked beans had so much flavor. I also tried the Mississippi mud pie and banana pudding. Both were yummy! The food also came out very quickly and the employees were friendly.
