I was craving fried chicken and this place is rated high in searches. Plus it’s a local restaurant and we like to support local. Upon entering, masks were being gathered for us to wear. We chose to go elsewhere. We choose freedom over suppression. Plus I’ve read you have to wear gloves when getting food. Might as well go take out only or close. I felt sorry for the server that lost out on tip money. I wonder if the lack of crowd has anything to do with the rules when eating here.
I haven't been to a Buffet since prior to COVID. My first time here, on vacation. I really liked the fact that this place mandated masks to enter. Hand Sanitizer and Gloves are required prior to fixing your plate. Plastic Ware and styrofoam plates are used. I appreciate the efforts in reducing the spread of COVID. Great food at a great price! Loved the food and southern hospitality!!! We had our daughters graduation dinner at Martha's Place ( a party of 31). The food was great with a continuous supply of great dishes!! Also let me mention how AFFORDABLE the event was!! Coming from South Florida, dinner events are so expensive!!! However, Martha's Place prices were definitely within our budget. I totally would recommend Martha's for dinner events and if you just want to sit down, eat and have a great time!!! Thanks again!!
Tried another new to me place food and service was great however I DO NOT like the fact they are still making you wear a mask the only reason I didn't leave is I waited 25 minutes for them to open and the people waiting were talking about how good it is. Well over 50% of the customers and employees were not wearing their make correctly and only one person had an N95 so PLEASE tell me why I had to wear one I have been to 6 concerts and did not have to have one and the federal court just recently removed the mandates for airlines.
The food is really good and servers are on point. They still playing the covid thing so we play along and eat some good vittles
Food was delicious. Taste. like home cooked meals. Sanitizing in place: mask, hand sanitizing and gloves required/provided.
Cashier not friendly. Very little items to select. Buffet was awful with food everywhere. The young at the to go counter was very helpful. Wheni visit Montgomery again this will not be one of my choices to eat at
Cashier not friendly real bad attitude we was told to go to the othe side for to go plates and there was no food out there and we was told to go back to the other side and we had to get back in line we had already stood up about 10mins when we got ready to fix our plate the counter was nasty and the food was Dried out no corn no chicken gravy was everywhere
If you like southern fried chicken, mashed potato's, gravy, bread pudding, etc. then this is the place to eat! This restaurant was recommended to us by several of our hotel staff when we were traveling though and I can't wait to be in Montgomery again since this will certainly be on our list of places to have a meal. The only problem with this place is that the food is so good and there is so much of it they may have to carry you out! don't miss this place if love food!
Fryers was out… We was told it would take a little long to get fried fish or chicken… Have been waiting for 50 minutes and still no fish or chicken… Had to settle for sides for meal… Never got any fish or chicken… Drove 50 miles for sides…. A lesson learned…
