Bait n switch for the prices! Menu listed one price and they charge you substantially more when you go to cash out then act like they don’t understand.Never going back to this place. The service was extremely slow and they didn’t even bring out two orders so we had to have them made to go.Margaritas were not good at all, couldn’t even taste any tequila in it.Dead fish floating in the nastiest tank I have ever seen too. Really disappointed after the great reviews I had read prior to coming here

Food was very good. Took 40 minutes to get our food. Four of us did the pick 4. ($8ish on menu). SOMEHOW the total cost was $54. Kinda felt robbed.

Their food is better than all the Mexican restaurants in prattville, Millbrook, Wetumpka and some parts of Montgomery

Food was not very Mexicana more like a try to make Mexicana. Cash only. Had a restaurant gift card was not accepted. Never able to get in touch with management. Went one afternoon sign said closed until 430 came back an hour later it was locked not open and no employees. Food was not worth $30 and salsa was made with large chunks of onion, Cilantro stems and salsa was almost brown in color not tasty at all. They should shut this place down. Far cry from Mexican food.

Great food our go to for Mexican food..FYI cash only establishment

The tacos were amazing and my wife loved the margaritas! Closest thing to the border, loved it!

Hello Tripadvisor Family. I am all about the idea of being family-owned and local when it comes to food and industry in general. Growing up outside the US and traveling a lot has given me the idea that nothing is truly off-limits when it comes to finding an authentic feel. If you're reading this review, online doesn't really give it true justice; I would try it. When you arrive, the surrounding neighborhood doesn't give you the idea that this is going to be as good as it is. However, as you get closer to the shop you see that some time and investment has been made in making this an oasis and represents the culture. I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted to of the outside because of time but I will return and get these pictures up! Atmosphere: Lots of tables for a small couple to a larger family. Music is playing and the decorations make you feel like you're in Central America. The lighting is good with sunlight pouring in despite it being an overcast day. There are some seats outside too if that is what you'd like. The menu has a lot to offer within Montgomery. Then, because it wasn't busy I wanted a specific type of burrito, for breakfast, and the host gladly catered to it. The staff were busy preparing the food for the day and seemed quite happy to be there; which is always a good sign. The price was just $21.80 for two large burritos, chips and salsa, three refills of drinks for myself. *IMPORTANT* I was embarrassed to not read the large sign that said, "cash only" on the door when it came to check-out. No problem though! This is a locally owned and family restaurant and so I had to go to the ATM nearby and bring back cash. So be aware it is CASH ONLY. Overall, you can tell it is about culture and family for this establishment. The team worked together and made this experience authentic. I recommend the food and the place to anyone who is interested in some great food at a nice price.

Been here twice in one week. Man the shrimp zdishes are awesome and the fajita too.

Authentic Mexican Food ? No tex mex ? chill vibes.. relaxing meal.

Food was ok the drink I had had a funny taste like something was going bad. If you happend to end up here I would suggest you order something popular something that's ordered all the time. Not a place to try new things. FYI its a cash only establishment!!
