We had a great first experience with Korean food here. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere, and the ladies serving us were SUPER nice (yes, all caps!), and the man I assume is the owner was very nice as well. There was a small mishap with an appetizer and special they were running, but all was taken care of and we appreciated that. The food was delicious, and we already have plans to come back for lunch.

My family came here tonight to celebrate my sister’s birthday. The food and service were incredibly good. All staff members were helpful and friendly, and the meal was one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. It was worth every penny, and I will definitely be back again soon!

It was Absolutely delicious! We come here on a pretty regular basis and always have great food and service! Everyone is so nice, They have a great menu of many different options! if it’s your first time having korean food This is definitely the place to go! There Prices are very affordable and you get a lot of food as well! You should definitely try this place out! You won’t regret it ?

We have eaten here as a family for almost 2 yrs now. First class Korean food, quality and service! I would recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area.

This was our first experience with Korean BBQ and chose Kalim on a whim. The staff and meal were beyond amazing. The best restaurant we have tried since visiting Montgomery.

We had the Kalim special set and were pleasantly surprised at the amount of food we received. The set let us sample several different dishes we were interested in trying without having to order everything separately. The service was great even though it looked like only 1 waitress was working. She refilled our drinks and banchans quickly and cleared away dishes as necessary. Would highly recommend!

The star on this review is for the individual tables sequestered in their own individual space and the very gracious staff. Unfortunately our female server did not understand enough English to bring another napkin when I spit my tough piece of beef into the only small, paper napkin I was given.Ask for glass with ice, but we were served two glasses of iced water. My husband ordered a beer which he liked. I ordered a Dr Pepper, which was served in the can with a plastic straw.I ordered the Wagyu boneless short ribs and has been ordered spicy pork Bulgogi. I had to return mine and was given theLa Galbi short ribs instead. It wasn’t better, but it was marinated. Not quality beef at all. Definitely not Wagyu! We left a $20 tip, but also left hungry!

Banchans, spicy pork bulgogi! 5/5

Had such high hopes for this place. Everything was good but then banchan’s were lukewarm and not very impressive. Rather underwhelming. The food came out expeditiously though the yukgejang was flavorless. It did have a lot of contents in it to include woodear mushroom which I’ve never seen before. But the flavor left a lot to be desired. The hot pot bibimbob is hard to mess up and it was good. The bbq meats were fresh and the salad that came with it was delicious.Overall a pleasant experience but not the best Korean I’ve had.

Authentic and delicious. Felt like I was back in Korea minus the prices which naturally are higher. Locals love it and you will too.
