I wish I could love this place. I like the idea and food choices. But we ordered 3 of the lunch specials and none of them came with all the correct sides. It took a while to get them so we swapped around amongst ourselves for ones we liked rather than trying to get them to fix it. Some of the food was very good; others just ok. Our wait staff were also not personable at all.
Highly Recommend for Family dinners....Girls Night Out...Dates or just solo Vibes. From the time u get to the Door ...The Hostess C was Awesome. To the Live Band Awesome and when you sit down Great server and DELICIOUS FOOD!!! I can use Every good Adjective to describe how Comfortable and Cool the atmosphere was!! My husband and Kids came out for Cinco De Mayo but all the Mexican Restaurants was full n not accepting any more customers.We was headed home until my husband made the last stop here. The Margarita ? was the best I ever had! Bartender Is Awesome! Even though this may seem like q Predominantly white establishment...U will not feel Uncomfortable and the staff n guest will not either. The most friendliest coolest Restaurant I ever been too. I will make this my GO to Spot for Lunch/Dinner for sure!!!We Thank u guys for a Great Evening Thursday!!!❤❤❤❤
I took my mom there for lunch and we loved it. The staff was friendly and the food was great.
Awesome server, very friendly and helpful helpi g us decide what to order. Hamburger steak, fried green tomatoes and gouda grits were all great. Strawberry shortcake is not something I'd get again.

Only reason not getting one star is the fried oysters were very good ... Overall very mediocre food and terrible gumbo for way too much money... Very disappointed I hate to hate on a local place but feel like we got jobbed on the meal and really bad service!

First visit at Jan’s. Very friendly attentive staff. I highly recommend the fried pickles and fried green tomatoes. Best I’ve ever had. Bottomless iced tea! I highly recommend.
Three of us at dinner. My wife and I had the special Beach House Platter for two with fish fingers and shrimp. The copious serving of French fries were great and the coleslaw was good. Our friend had the chicken tenders. The server was great.
