DONT BUY FISH AT THIS PLACE! My sister got sick twice eating this fish. When you buy the fish look inside you will see a shiny look or a dark area on the fish. That is under cook fish.
This place is awful! They weigh the fish in the bag with too much ice to increase the price. I bought 1 1/2 lb. of shrimp today and the man behind the counter told me it was going to be $20.14 + tax and then the lady charged me $26.14. I told her not to run the card because I wanted to know how high the sales tax is and she still ran it! I have no problem paying more for good fish and supporting a local business, but seriously… just go to Publix. What a disappointment. I will not be back.
Takeout only, I ordered the Fried Catfish sandwich and my dad ordered the Mullet sandwich. Both came with French fries. Everything was delicious. The "sandwich" is fries on the bottom of the the plate, the fish next, and then two pieces of bread on top. When you pick it up you need to tell the cashier if you want any sauce to go with it.
store hours so random. Visited 3 times. One time open late at 1 pm. Other 2 times close earlier at 3pm. No one take the phone call. If you cannot maintain a regular hours. Might just close the store .
I'm sure a lot of people in Montgomery have been to this place. For me, it was a little tight to get to right off of the eastern boulevard. You better be patient but fast to get to it!! But if you know the location it's easy to bust a move!! My first time in was ok, but I wouldn't sit in and eat there. Signs were posted inside that read "Clean Up behind yourself" LMAO!! Anywhooo, I ordered the 2 Catfish dinner and I have to admit it was VERY GOOD!! I tried the Corn fritters (very good), and Onion Rings (ok). Everything was freshly cooked!! That's my favorite part, being freshly cooked. My order was ready in about 20 minutes which I didn't mind. The price was even better especially compared to the size of each piece, whole catfish fillet!! And, oh, the strawberry lemonade was the BOMB!!
Both the guy on the side where you order fresh products and the woman on the restaurant side were extremely rude and short with me! It was my 1st and last time visiting this establishment! The food was ok but not well enough to come back.
Customer service sucks... food all tastes the same!! Change your oil more often fish and frys shouldn't be cooked in the same oil my fries taste like fried catfish burnt to a crisp
Food is amazing...Try the different types of fish there. You would fall in love with this place.What keeps me coming back is the hospitality of the workers

Place used to be good... snotty guy at the front act like I insulted him because I asked if they had grilled fish smh
