Food was great. Wait times were pretty long for food to get to the table, but staff were friendly and attentive throughout our visit. They were incredibly busy while we were there. So, that no doubt contributed to the time we waited.
Made a quick trip to Montgomery to visit the Legacy Museum and this was hands down the best food we ate in town. Amazing service, delicious food, and they had great choices for our gluten-free friend. Order wisely, because the portions are HUGE.
Food was absolutely delish but of course there was a long line. a few items i wanted to order were not in stock which is a bummer, but its a colorful, chill place to dine for some authentic Jamaican food and diverse company. Tried curry chicken for the first time and cant wait to go back!
The food is delicious, fresh, and generous portions! The restaurant is clean, staff extremely friendly. This isn't fast food so don't be bitter if you wait a bit, it's TOTALLY worth it!Jerk Chicken and Salmon were phenomenal
The food was hands down the best Caribbean food I ever had. Met a guy in Washington DC and he recommended this place. I’m so happy I tried it. I will be back!
I got the big man ah yaad (curry goat, oxtail, and jerk chicken) with rice & peas, plantain, and Mac and cheese. Everything was well cooked and filled with flavor (I am jamaican born and raised). The mac & cheese, jerk chicken, and curry goat were the standouts. The only that stopped this from being a 5 star visit was the wait time (20-30 minutes) for carryout at noon. Order ahead if possible! But overall a great place.

The food is good but high prices small portions. Call in order only to have to wait until I arrive to make a chicken patty(20minute wait time). They Charge gratuity on EVERY order including to go orders. I Ordered plantain as a side and was very disappointed to only see two plantains on my plate. Not comparable to any other Jamaican restaurant I’ve been to. Not sure if I’ll return to this place.
Nice, friendly, warm, and inviting atmosphere when entering. Food is prepared upon arrival, and was hot and very well seasoned. The oxtails and plantains were on point. The food is definitely worth every bit of the money... just have to make it a special occasion spot.
