1st time here. I got a BBQ salad. What is Sweet on the meat? I DID NOT LIKE IT. I ate it because apparently it's your thing but I won't order it in any form. I hated it. I looked before going, pictures showed Coke not Pepsi which is what they actually have. Again I hate Pepsi I wanted Coke. WAS the food ok, yes just not my liking. Guess I won't come back or try something different and not look forward to have a cokeAlso, if you haven't been there before...you have to guess where your sauces, dressings are. No direction
my friend and i stopped here while passing by on a road trip and the pulled pork sandwich was hands down the best pulled pork i’ve ever had. prices are super reasonable as well which is a plus. the employees were super kind and stopped to chat with us for a few minutes and gave us some recommendations on other places to check out in montgomery. i highly highly recommend this place whether you’re a local or just passing through!
I got the #1 lunch special...3 ribs, side, and drink for 9.75. price... awesome. Service... awesome. Food...gone, I ate it all before even thinking about a picture. Lol. My bad.
Disclaimer: Barbecue has to be real bad for me to not like it.The ribs were excellent. I could’ve eaten them all without sauce and been satisfied, but I like sauce and the sauce was good.The turnip greens were excellent. Some of the best I’ve had at a restaurant.I also think it is great that you can get banana pudding as a side.
First time customers and we loved it. The BBQ Sandwich with a side and drink was only $7.00. The quality was outstandingly good. Everyone in our group of 5 was delighted with their lunches. Also the funnel cake fries were Great! And were only $3.00. A true local gem. We'll be back whenever we are in town.
It’s exactly what I expected when I walked in the door. Very good food at fair prices. Met the owner while I was eating, as well. Great guy. Will definitely be a spot to get lunch for my offices next go around.

I got the BBQ fries, was the best I've ever had. Sauces are served in the side but it comes with cheese and chives. Definitely will not walk away hungry from this place.
I went to Wal-Mart this early afternoon and saw how busy they were. I haven't had fat man's BBQ before and without any doubt in this kid's mind, it was far better tasting and more moist than Full Moon's BBQ. I am extremely pleased I stopped by today. It is a pleasure to enjoy good barbecue. One Benny is that I am supporting a family owned and operated restaurant rather than a filthy rich conglomerate. I highly recommend Fat Man's Smokehouse BBQ. They are open for breakfast and lunch. Fortunately I got there around 1:00 this afternoon.
Quick service and fair pricing. The food was really good, but the meat had a sweet taste.
