I know its hotter than hot outside but my shake was melting when they gave it to me. They didn't ask me about the whipped cream or cherry, but it was melted on top because straight cream is what I first tasted. The cherry was down bottom when I finished it up. I guess I just prefer a really thick shake. Okay vanilla cherry and turtle tracks flavors. Probably just hotter inside with those freezers working overtime. I used drive through. Woman was most polite and service was quick.
I purchased a regular waffle cone with butter pecan ice cream. The waffle cone was so thin it was a race against time eating it because the ice cream was oozing from the outside of the entire cone. Thank God I asked for more napkins because it was a mess. The texture that should be outside of waffle cones were not there. It was like they are attempting to stretch the waffle batter/mix to save money. I’m a regular at Bruster’s but this was my first time trying the Chantilly location. It was horrible. Nothing like the one I had yesterday at the Vaughn Rd location. Really wish I could’ve taken a picture but it was too messy to even think about touching my phone.
Great service, there was only one person working both drive thru and walk ups which is sad. But she did a great job. The manager need to do better scheduling
There was one young lady working when we stopped by. There was a bit of a wait, but we could tell that she was trying her best to get the orders completely in a timely manner. She was very polite and apologetic for the wait. If ever in the area again, we'd visit this location rather than the one on Vaughn Road.
Good ice cream. Stopped by during a weekend and there seemed to only be one person working. It was obvious they were overwhelmed by the long line of cars/some who seemed like impatient/rude customers. This person did a great job handling a stressful situation, but the mgmt should really look at putting more folks on shift during the weekend. 5 stars for the employee…4 for the mgmt.
I like Bruster's, and the quality is always good. Having said that, don't get the key lime pie ice cream. It is disappointing.
My key lime pie was spoiled. I took a bite then smelled the spoiled milk. Made me so sick! Scoop sizes are ridiculously small too.
The guy last night was awesome, I got there right before closing but he was still eager to serve!
