Overall, this place is in rough shape. Although it does appear to be the norm, why is service so horrible in Montgomery? I'm always polite and respectful yet get met with indifference and just ignored. But here is why I won't go back. Cleanliness: Place just looks run down, dirty and little emphasis on maintaining a healthy atmosphere for food service. Service: We asked for a TV station change, and it was like we were asking for their car keys...the TV never got changed after two requests. We asked for a refill, and it took our servicer wandering around for a while, checking her phone, chatting with coworkers and then a refill. Food: Was actually pretty good, hence why this 3 rating. I enjoyed my burger and fries. However, a friend ordered chicken and rice and was pretty disappointed. If this place is cleaned and service improves, I feel like the business could experience significant growth and maintain its status as a popular destination. Good luck!
I don't usually do restaurant reviews since I rarely have a problem with whatever I have ordered wherever I am. Just not picky I guess. I found my chicken sandwich and fries quite tasty. But I do want to compliment the service. Our server Joe was such a joy, buzzing around checking back to see what we needed, keeping the table tidied up as we finished our meal, fulfilling beverage refills, and making sure that we were happy with our food. And the place was packed. Granted this is what a server is supposed to do ( have waited tables myself many years ago) but that doesn't guarantee you will receive good service. Joe made our table of 8 feel like he had been waiting all day for these lady schoolteachers to stroll into his restaurant so he could make our evening meal the high point of our day. He should give lessons in restaurant hospitality.
GiJoe was our server. Since it was our first visit he explained menu. Husband had hamburger steak and I had chicken wrap. Both were very good.
I remember when bauhmowers used to be good. It used to be fun, and the food used to be awesome. Now....not so much. I sat at the bar and ordered the large wings with a side of gooey fries and I've never been more disappointed in a meal than I have here. My fries were cold and just depressing looking and my wings....were tiny and overcooked. The fries seemed and tasted like they say in the window for a while and there was hardly any flavor to them...which is weird considering they were one of my favorites years ago. The wings were small....but the sauce was good. The issue with the wings is they are advertising them by a count and not a weight anymore...and with the size of these things.. it should be done by weight. My bartender seemed more concerned with hitting on staff and just watching TV than actually working. Overall...I can't really say I'm shocked that the place has gone downhill...the entire city of Montgomery has seemed to do that
This is a nice place with lots and lots of televisions. I have been here before and I probably could have made a better choice for my meal, but I wanted to try different things.I expect the wings and the burgers are the best choices. I’ve had three wings before and I liked them but I’m a messy wing eater and I didn’t want to end up wearing the sauces that day! ?Service was good; food was good.
overall the food was pretty good! they went up on the wing prices just fyi. our server Adam was really nice but the drinks i found underwhelming and mine was just a tad bit tart.
Fat, lame, dusty, no edges “manager”! She’s exactly what you call “give a n*gger a title and their dumb illiterate ask take it to the head”. She’s rude asf. I asked for a refund for an online order. I understood that she couldn’t give me one but she wouldn’t even give me information on how to get one. She told me I could not get a refund and I could leave with my food. Stated she didn’t know how to write or talk so why would would you be managing a business dumbask ho! Who in their right mind would pay $11 and some change for four wings??? I get it was a mistake on ordering but simply giving out information on how to get a refund would’ve been enough. Not telling a customer. “I don’t know how to write”!!!!
Loved everything about this place. From the friendly greetings when we entered, to the fresh hot bag of popcorn we got before we were seated.My hamburger steak, mushroom gravy on garlic mashed potatoes and garlic bread were perfect. The Italian green beans cooked with potatoes and ham while peppery were a little salty for my taste, but my partner enjoyed them.He ordered the Hot Brown which is accompanied by a side of mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy. I can't say enough about our server Ty. He took great care of us and checked back often to see how we were doing.
It was OK. Order was supposed to be curly-q fries and their prices have definitely gone up on wings due to supply chain issues, so no.winfs this go around. Service was a little below par. This is not going to be in my top 10 for Montgomery.
14Nov2021. I had the mild Thai chili wings which were fried crisp and hot. My daughter had the gooey fries which were quite delicious. There was a server in training so the service was a little slow toward the end of the meal. Great atmosphere. Decent prices for a sport's bar.
