I can’t say enough about the ambiance and the food! Via Emilia was recommended by our Airbnb host. The wonderful, intimate setting on the outside patio was only surpassed by the best gnocchi I’ve ever had! Even the Caesar salad was amazing. My companions had chicken parm and loved it. The service was also excellent. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back next time we are in the area.
We went Monday night 5/9/22. Our food was awful I had a stuffed pork chop that was so tough I couldn’t cut it with the steak knife. My husband had a fish dish that was supposed to be triple tail he eats fish everywhere and it was tilapia. I ordered a glass of champagne it had been opened last week and was flat. They did not offer to open a new bottle. My husband had a crown and sprite that could not have had 1/2 ounce of crown in it. Add the fact that the servers are Not in the least interested in making sure your table is comfortable or that you’re meal is good . The manager is a rude jerk . Had we not been with another couple we would have walked out before we ever ordered but we thought the other couple really wanted to eat there. It is terribly overpriced don’t waste your money there are lots of other options in mobile that are better
This place is amazing. Rachel is the most attentive waitress we've had in a long time. 10/10 would recommend to anyone for any occasion. Price is worth every penny you spend. If you want cheap Italian, go to Olive Garden; if you want great Italian, go to Via Emilia.
The eggplant parmesan is divine. We have also tried many fried green tomatoes in Mobile and the surrounding area and they by far have the best.

Decided to go for a last minute brunch. no problems getting a reservation. Food was great, service was top notch. This is one of my wife and mine favorite places. Never had a bad experience here.
I love this places atmosphere. It’s small and really cute. The Bolognese lasagna was really good but a piece of the pasta was not cooked which was too bad because I really liked it. The service was good.
Best Italian food in Mobile. Sincerely mouthwatering every time I go. Only draw back is that it is a tiny venue. Always booked and for good reason. Definitely check this place out if you haven't already! Delicious bread and their chicken marsala is divine, still dreaming about it!
Great food. I only took off a star because it was freezing outside & they didn't have any indoor seating. To be fair it's a very small place. Will definitely eat here again!
Truly fantastic food in a quaint and cozy Italian restaurant. The patio is worth a mention as well...quite nice. The food was the best Italian we have found on the coast (Biloxi, Ocean Springs) and we will absolutely drive 45 minutes to get it again. The chicken picatta and angel hair w/ meatballs were extremely well done for simple dishes. The bread they serve from the oven in chunks cut for dipping olive oil sets the table for what is to come. I regret not taking more photos but we had a large party of 16....that they served well and accommodated. Can't wait to come back!
