I wanted to share the experience that my three year old daughter and I had at Valentino’s on Azalea. Not only was our food wonderful and they are byob (do not serve alcohol, but you may bring your own free of charge), there was a sweet lady with a table set up to entertain the children. She introduced herself when we walked into the establishment. I was a bit hesitant at first, but once my Charlotte scarfed down her dinner, I still had a bit more to eat and she was getting antsy. I let her go hang out with the woman and some other kids, and she had all kinds of arts and crafts along with little toys to give away to the kids. My daughter got some bubbles and a green dinosaur. I asked to take a photo to share because I can only imagine how many of us go without a meal in peace on a regular basis and wanted to share. I felt comfortable because I could see my daughter from where I was sitting as they were sat in the corner of the dining room. It would be a great resource for single mommas or just any momma in general who would like to be able to eat in peace once their child is full for a decent price and no clean up. It would also be good for a date night with a boyfriend or husband if you do not have a sitter because they could finish their food and go play while the parents finish enjoying their meal. As a plus, she made a note to clean her hands before we went to leave. She really was ever so sweet, and said she is there after twelve on their open days (though I’m sure you could call to be sure). They are, I believe, closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Very clean restaurant, staff was very nice and quick. The food came out and it did not disappoint. They're large portions! If you're a big eater you'll love it or you will definitely want to take it home. I got the Spicy meatball pasta. Perfect amount of spice and really good flavor. My wife and little girl shared the fettuccine alfredo. We couldn't cut the noodles fast enough for her. She loved it. We will definitely be going back.

The food was really good and nice size portions. The price is great for the account of food you receive. The staff was very kind and the restaurant offers an relaxing atmosphere.

Ate lunch here today. I really loved the spicy meatball pasta. My lunch mates loved their entrees too: lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo. I look forward to returning. I didn’t see any wine on menu so not sure about that…if I was going for dinner red wine would be a must!

This food is great my fist time trying this placeThis food is great my fist time trying this place..

I moved from Mobile in 2007 and was looking for a Mediterranean place that used to be in the area when we stumbled on this gem. We got the pepperoni knots as an appetizer, I got the seafood ravioli ? , and my kids got the cheese and pepperoni pizzas. I would come back simply for the pepperoni knots alone! They were to die for. I can’t remember what my husband got but with his and my entrees, the pepperoni knots, two kids pizzas, and 4 drinks the total was about $70. I’m looking forward to eating here again on future hometown visits! Good job, Mobile!

This food is AMAZING ? The service was excellent. If you are looking for classic authentic and extremely delicious Italian cuisine, this is definitely your spot!!

Worst OWNER AND FOOD ever!!!! I wish I could do negative stars!!!!!! The food was awful and had to be sent back then the owner came out to fuss at us in front of everyone and told us we was paying for it anyways- because “plenty of people likes his food” he informed me!!!’ I said well I didn’t and the pasta was way over cooked and mushy like baby food!!!!! If that’s what you like by all means!!!!! Then the pasta came with a salad that I didn’t want and don’t eat and they forced me to pay for the salad while the owner was out fussing at me!!!! If this is the kinda of owner you want to support and the food you wish to eat then by all means- And to top it off it was for my sons birthday meal which was ruined and I had to pay for on a fixed income. Hope he feels good about himself- he has lost ALL our business and I will never grace his doors again and while I typically support independent owned places this jerk makes you want to stick to chain places. He didn’t have to be so dang rude and mean. He should of let me order something else and take off the food that wasn’t good. That’s what normal people do. Normal owners try to make sure their customers are satisfied and will come back. This guy acted like he wanted to spit on me because I didn’t like his mushy pasta he cooked himself…. I was very nice and polite even apologized for sending it back to the waiter…. But then the owner came out and shined his butt. Run. Oh and then not on the menu… not on the door… not on the table- but when you check out they say ps the menu prices are wrong we raised all the prices - would be nice to know upfront!!!!

Food is amazing. Definitely authentic Italian. My boyfriend and I just moved here so we only discovered this cute little restaurant yesterday and we will absolutely be going back. Amazing cuisine and really good pricing. The chef even came out to ask how everything was. That’s a personal touch you rarely see these days. I would give more than 5 stars if Google had that option.

Excellent! They have a really good menu and the service is wonderful. Very generous portions and the taste - superb! Nice, family friendly atmosphere and the live music was a pleasant bonus. First time there, definitely won't be the last.
