The food was very good. Smothered pork chops were very good
First time going and will never return. Everything is as salty as can be. Couldn't eat any of it but the canned cranberry sauce. I got the turkey special. The dressing was pure mush.

The food was very good, made me think of Mommas cooking if you enjoy Soul food you can't go wrong here. I'll certainly be going back for more.
Food was awful. Meat over cooked, Lima beans hard, and food was not seasoned. Macaroni taste like it came out of can. I had to feed plate to dog to get money worth but he declined because food was not seasoned properly.
Oh my little 7 pound 6 ounce baby Jesus this was good! It's Thursday, so I got the turkey and dressing, which is only available on Thursdays. I was not disappointed. This tasted like you riding a pegasus and it jumps over a double rainbow, and then once you hit the ground, Jesus himself slides down the rainbow and gives you a high five. The turkey was falling off the bone and the dressing was moist and fantabulous and flavorful. And I also got the banana pudding which was like an orgasm of loveliness in my mouth. My kids got the wings. They said the hot wings aren't spicy enough and the lemon pepper wings are too salty, but their food opinions are questionable. One of my kids don't like chocolate, cheese, or pasta so he obviously can't be trusted. The lady up front was like sunshine! So sweet and even helped me carry the food to the car when she didn't have to do that. This was fire ? Definitely check it out
Food was perfectly seasoned, flavorful and soulful. Service was outstanding, I loved what they recommended and the whole environment inspired kindness and love. I'd go back every day.
It was ok.. food wasn't great. Tried it 3 times to give another chance but 3 strikes your out. First time food had no taste(oxtails were flavorless) but the lady up front was really nice. 2nd time wings had no flavor and i couldn't eat it. They were dry. They were suppose to be hot wings but tasted horrible. 3rd time it was just ok but taste better than the first two times. Oxtails again, they weren't good but better than before. Different lady up front this 3rd time(today) but wasn't as friendly she didn't really greet or speak, she was kinda rude . Probably would never go back unless they hired another cook.
Each and every visit is an experience! The food...excellent! The desserts....excellent. The customer service...excellent. The owners go out of their way to speak to each person that comes in. They know me by name and in some cases know exactly what my order is. And its always pipping hot and the flavor is mind-blowing! I will definitely be taking advantage of their holiday menu. And just a side note, the only potato salad I have eaten was my grandmother's, this potato salad is the only one that holds a candle to my grandmothers salad.
This place is fire!!! Everything I have tried is delicious!!! The mac n cheese, cabbage taste just like grandmas!!! The pound cake is a must have. Husband loves the fried smoked ribs!! Totally worth the 90 min drive from Florida!! It’s a family monthly ritual at this point?? Will remember to take pics next time!!
