The worst experience I have had eating out in a very long time. Unfortunately though, this is the 3rd and final time receiving this waste of customer service on this trifling "restaurant". Wait time is always horrible. My fries were cold (AFTER being pulled up and then parked for over 10 minutes.) Choosing to wait to get my food to drink my beverage, it only added insult to injury that my drink order was also incorrect. Even though it was rang up correctly, I still got a regular Coke instead of half and half tea!The staff is THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL in fast food! I sincerely hated to write this review but inflation is entirely too high and I have far too many options to waste almost $30 on a trash meal! My honest opinion is this restaurant needs to be better managed or closed completely. Not to mention the current food score is below 90! ONE WORD...DISGUSTING!This visit was on 7.23.22 @ 847pm.
I’ve always loved steak and shake but yesterday made me never want to eat there ever again. I was halfway through my burger and in the middle there was a long black hair in it. Almost threw up not gonna lie. I looked over and me and fiancé both noticed none of the cooks are wear hair nets...... everything else was good just be cautious.
Went with my son in the afternoon. I had the royale burger and it was so good. The milkshakes were also great and didn't have to wait long at all for our food....
Burgers are cooked to order. No complaints at all. The fries you can request seasoning on them I recommend the Cajun seasoning on the fries.
We visited with 4 of our kids for lunch on May 22, 2022. The lady that waited on us was so sweet and tentative. She made sure all the kids and our drinks were full. The kitchen made the wrong size of my food and she got it fixed quickly. The manager came out and was so sweet also. No I didn't ask for her she just wanted to bring my food out personally and apologize. To me that shows a good manager. The server was also training two other people and still kept us informed on everything. The food was also very good and exactly what we needed.
One of the worst Steak n’ Shakes we have ever visited. Pre-ordered our food as we were on a road trip and waited 35 minutes past the pickup time. They forgot two drinks, sauce, a fry and could not pay attention to directions for what should have been on the burgers and hot dog. Most places are short staffed, which can be understood, however, many here were just standing around and those in the drive-thru were getting orders made immediately upon ordering.
for a Mgr in training she was very rude and walked out the door on her phone without giving me my whole order. the burgers were heavily salted. Had a free shake thur the app but I couldn't redeem because it was half price shakes. whatever. Horrible service and food.....And she also drops my phone because she had no idea about the free shake , so she took my phone out of my hand to show another emp and drops it !!!!!
I just love their skinny fries so much with their seasoning. Just delicious! Burgers are good too. I can recommend the garlic butter one, so unhealthy but so good! Shakes are pretty good too I had the cookies and cream one. Should for sure give it a try!Servers are friendly and food is quick.
We are Steak and Shake fans! Love them in California. Here visiting family and grabbed food at 9pm, service was super pleasant but the food was cold and unfortunately we couldn’t turn around and have it remade.Hoping this is a good training opportunity as I’m sure we weren’t the only ones to receive cold food. We threw the fries away and tried to make it work with the other items but are very dissatisfied.
Cheeseburgers are my guilty pleasure. I been here more than once. I get seated quickly and serve in a acceptable amount of time. Food comes fresh. I love their thin fries. I just love French fries in general. I recommend this place to family and friends. And I will be coming back!
