MOLDY slushies... ZERO Stars!!!. They messed up my orders 3 times in a row... the last time I went they gave me slushies that had MOLD inside. I ordered the ones with the green/blue boba and I got "nerds" that was obviously expired and rotten. I'm calling a few lawyers to sue this location since these slushies were for kids and it's unacceptable to have such low standards for a Sonic, the owner should be ashamed of himself. I will never go back here and neither should you if you care about your health at all. See the pics and judge for yourself. Who in their right mind would pour a slushie that looks like this and still sell it to a customer??? I show 2 in the pics: Strawberry and cranberry. I called the store, the manager and the supervisor. *No One Answered*
This sonic is literally never busy, but always so so so slow. Their stalls never work, but they don’t tell you that. They let you sit there and wait and wait and don’t say anything. So the only way to order is drive through. There are like 10 people in the building and yet jt takes 20 minutes for a drink order. Every single time I try this sonic, it sucks. Don’t go here. Go to the one on cottage hill.
Imagine you are driving home from a day of work. You think to yourself, man, I'd love a drink. You open your Sonic app because you know that you can get half price drinks anytime. You order the vanilla Dr. Pepper. You show up, check into the stall via the app and you wait, and wait, and wait. 10, 15, 20 minutes go by and your order has now cleared off the screen. You press the red button, they say the order will be right out and it is, almost immediately. You get the drink and there it's covered in condensation because it's been sitting out so long. You drive off, frustrated, because it took 20+ minutes to get a drink. While driving home you open the straw, take a big sip and bam, it's straight vanilla. Undrinkable. But do you go back? No, because you don't have another 30 minutes of your life to waste waiting for a drink. 2 weeks later you say, hey, I want a drink, and you try it all again. Guess what. Same exact scenario happens except this time I got a watered down root beer. Not sure what happened to this location since the pandemic but I will revert back to driving to the Cottage Hill location. Never had an order incorrect there and never had to wait 20 minutes for a drink, even when most stalls are full. I guess it's my fault for continually giving this location chances. It started with slow service and now the orders aren't correct. Filled out the survey both times via email but I guess that doesn't incentivize the location to do better. That staff is always nice and friendly. It could just be old tech that doesn't handle the orders correctly. Not sure. Either way, it's a bad experience.
Do NOT use this Sonic unless you enjoy sitting in the drive through line for long periods of time while no one waits on you. Or if you are lucky enough to actually get waited on and can actually order you are told at the window (after you’ve waited at least 30 minutes in line) that they don’t have your items and/or the ice cream shake machine is broken. This place needs to be shut down!
I have been here many times thinking well maybe it will get better. No. I was wrong. Never fails I end up waiting for 30 mins as usual for them to take an order make it and get it. They do one person at a time. They can’t multitask anything. Today I wanted some French Toast sticks. Simple enough. I noticed I didn’t have any syrup and I asked for some. They didn’t have any. Ok, well at least tell the person who is ordering because they may want something else instead. Instead the person looked at me and rose he hands up saying oh well. And shut the window on me. I didn’t have time to argue and I needed to go back to work because my lunch was now half way over!!
Waited a total of 45min for 2 chili cheese dogs & jumbo popcorn combo.. overall the food was good & fresh but omg if they don't have help, they need to be closing at a certain time!! instead of having people pull up to order at the window and wait at window!! Orr Atleast take everyone's order & have them pull into a drive-in spot to wait on their food, that way you can cook more orders at a time and people won't have to be waiting as long a they do!??♀️
For years, you can’t get onion rings…the picture is of a breakfast, “toaster” I just got..should be renamed breakfast almost toasted!!!Been going to sonic for 30 years or more !! Service isn’t what it used to be.. quality is way down..can’t understand why fast food employees think they should get 15.00 per hour..done with sonic!!! Your best days are BEHiND YOU !!! Update February 15, 2022, I called the regional manager Ben over a week ago and left him a voicemail, never heard back… I called the corporate office in Oklahoma talked to a nice lady there, she said she was going to escalate the situation, and said I would get a call back, never heard back. No wonder sonic is failing.
I have never given such a bad review somewhere but unfortunately with the repeated offenses of this particular sonic location I just want to warn people who are thinking about coming. They get a second star because the staff (usually just like one person) is very nice. Whoever is running this one is just struggling a bit right now. Even if you order online they will either precheck you in, or make you go through the drive thru to get it. They have messed up on my order almost every time (I usually just go for a soda). Once again the staff has always been so nice and accomodating but if you are in the area and looking for a bite, consider any of the other options on the airport Blvd service roads.
Before today I would have never given a good review. I work across the street and I am a frequent customer out of convenience. I assume they got a new staff because there is a “Now Hiring” sign out front. Whatever they did, it worked!! My order was taken this morning and promptly served. The window attendant paid close attention to detail and got my entire order correct! This never happens! My order was brought out within minutes. This also never happens. I hope they continue with excellent customer service like this morning!
We sat there for about 20 minutes before we overheard a worker tell another customer that the speakers weren't working , so I put in an online order and we waited and waited. Then I heard the speaker next to us working so I pushed the button and told them I had an online order , they said "okay it'll be right out" well another 25 minutes later our food arrived and I'd have to say that I have had better food from there before. Point being even with an online order it took us about 45 -50 mins to order and get our food.
