Good breakfast, coffee and amazing atmosphere!
They have very good coffee and the atmosphere is great. They sell also food like Paninis and Ice creams too. I loved this place. I recommend this coffee shop if you are coming to Mobile.
We passed by this shop on the way back to our hotel and immediately noticed the Gelato available sign. Unfortunately we were already cutting it close for an event we needed to attend at our hotel, but we decided we would get back before we left. Two days later we did. The gelato was outstanding. We went to one of the tables outside and enjoyed it. I definitely plan to go back when I attend the 72nd National Square Dance Convention in June 2023
I love this cozy coffee shop that is walkable in the historic district of downtown Mobile. We travel to the area frequently and made a point to visit this place walking back to our hotel after dinner. We went in for a gelato and found the selection to be outstanding! And you can sample any before you buy! Smith helped us that evening as we arrived in time (they close at 8:00pm sharp if not a few before) to pick out some terrific flavors. She was a delight! It's a great way to close out the evening. We look forward to coming by every time we're in town! You can also snag a muffin, scone or other pastry for breakfast the next morning!
First time in Mobile, this place came recommended by a friend. Very disappointed by the service, the girl misheard me (or wasn’t paying attention) and gave me a burrito instead of a bagel, forgot my friend’s muffin, and didn’t put whipped cream on either of our drinks even though we asked (both mochas!). When we went to ask about the mix up, we were met with attitude. The bagel was good when I finally got it, and the atmosphere was great- thats about it.
Serda's is owned by less than ethical owner, and his staff reflects that. They are rude and socially inappropriate. Their coffee is bitter too. Imagine that?! The owner has a history of anti- social behavior as well. When owner was in high school, his next door neighbor was a college professor. I met that college professor at a competitor's coffee shop in Mobile, and we exchanged bad costumer experiences at Serda's, and he shared the following: The college professor said that he had to contend with anti- social petty illegal behavior of the owner when he was a teenager. The professor said as a teenager the owner of Serda's used to urinate on his classic antique car frequently. He talked to the owner's parents and they did nothing to stop his crude antisocial behavior. Imagine that too?! That explains why the owner is still anti- social and has employees to match his deplorable attitudes.
I’m a business owner myself so I understand customer service and things get crazy but I called about a pastry and the young girl “Angh” who answered hung up on me two times because she didn’t know the answer and was “busy”. I tried calling back and was immediately ignored. She finally answered with a huge attitude and hung up a second time! I call back to speak to a manager and the manager “two” answers first thing. Says “ma’am It was an accident”… hmmm two times isn’t an accident but ok. On the other hand this coffee shop is unsanitary and rude. Great news is, The Social Experiment is across the street! Will be reverting ALL business to this new coffee shop. Very clean and friendly professional staff! Serda, you should appreciate your customers as they keep your lights on.
I had such a good coffe. It has a very relaxed atmosphere
Good coffee, great place to grab a breakfast burrito. Super friendly staff and fast.
