Have eaten here a couple of times and the food is good as far as pub food goes.. the Homewrecker Hot dog is a beast. I will go just for it. The prices are also fair. The only negatives are the overall system they have which affects the overall experience. You order at a counter which can have a lengthy line where you may wait 10-15 minutes to order during peak times. You must also stand in this line for drink refills. There is another bar which you may use but I still prefer to order at my table. Next, it is open air using fans. This is on the river so I understand that most come for the view, but on really hot days a nice cool area would be nice. I will definitely be back but will likely carefully choose days where the weather is nice. The inside is well covered but still hot. Overall a nice place to eat on moderate days.
The employees were outstanding. The live band was good. It was hot at our table but they do have a lot of fans around the place. We were just in a bad spot. I had a burger and it was really good. And of course the views are outstanding.
Fish and Shrimp were amazing. Burger was great. Drinks were reasonably priced and made well. Would recommend.
Excellent seafood restaurant, nice out of the way spot on the river. Large portions, easy to order too much. Nice beer selection, family place.
We were in Mobile and looking for a place to eat. River Shack was recommended to us and it did not disappoint! The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere and location are great! If you are in the area I would highly recommend stopping nu the River Shack and getting some amazing food!

Was at the river shack last night, had an open tab. I forgot my debit card there (so I know I didn’t get a receipt nor sign one) today my total was updated on my card to include a $25 tip that I DID NOT leave. I have been calling the restaurant for over an hour with no answer. If you eat/drink hear I recommend paying with cash!
The food is really good. But, the atmosphere is phenomenal!!!
Great open air bar and grill with excellent food and fun party atmosphere. It felt safe and we enjoyed our afternoon. Right on the river and we watched the boats pull up and leave. They had a live band when we were there. More food around back and looked like good barbecue. They are known for their Bushwacker frozen drink with chocolate and rum and it is delightful.
When I saw the prices. I thought it was bit pricey for window ordering. Got the food and was pleasantly surprised by the high quality and great taste.
