First time we tried this place. We had no idea they allowed hookas everywhere inside, the whole place smelled like charcoal and raspberries. If you have issues with smoke or smoking, skip this place. I thought they outlawed tobacco use inside in Alabama. The food is the only reason this place would get 3 stars. The food was very hot and tasted good, but the service was horrible. Even when we asked for more water we still didn't seem to get any before leaving. This place needs a good cleaning and maybe a warning on the door about smoking. The upcharge for using a credit card was the cherry on top of this whole experience. The prices are a little high for what you get. This might be a good place for take away food, but again don't use your card to pay. 2.5 true star rating... when we getting half stars google?
We choose outside seating, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. They made sure my party's every need was met. The food was good and filing, the drinks had an extra kick per our request. The hookah was on point. Over all, It was an excellent experience
Ordered take out. Had to wait twice the time for the food but it was fresh and tasty. Got the chicken shawarma wrap, cat fish po-boy and the Ollies sampler. They even threw in a piece of chocolate cake for having to wait so long. Either way. I would try again.
This was one of our favorite places but the quality and selection has declined and the prices are outrageous. Service was mediocre too. Not sure where to start, we had spaghetti which was $15 on the menu. It was served with what looked like canned tomato sauce and meatballs were $6 up-charge, making it $21 for spaghetti, really?? The shawarma plate tasted okay, but not at nearly $25, come on. I could see $15 maybe but it definitely wasn’t worth the price. Their are other Mediterranean eateries in Mobile that have much better food at better prices. Get pasta and want to add a chicken breast, how about $7. The menu has changed, much pricier and selections removed. This used to be one of our favorites but I don’t see us going back for a loooong time if ever.
This is a good restaurant. I like the seafood pizza, chicken wings and lamb chops. Their salads and side dishes are good also. The staff seems clean, safe and nice and they get you meals rather quickly. The prices are reasonable for good food.
Used to be a weekly spot I’d go with family. We used to love it. It’s been steady downhill over the course of a few years. They seem to cater more towards a late night crowd, which is fine. Their daytime wait staff gives me a “we head hunt former Golden Corral wait staff” vibe.We can rebuild.
Initially the service was slow but the food was very good
Very disappointed. Service was good, however the food was not. My friend had the Ollie burger and it had no flavor. It was baffling. I had the gyro, beef, thinking it would be like traditional gyro meat. Wrong, it was like pot roast. Gross. If you are going to have a " gyro" have the correct meat. I will not go back
My husband enjoyed his pasta dish and the kabob, which was recommended by the waitress. I was slightly disappointed with the gyro, and the lamb burger was only decent. The rice was quite good. A bit expensive to have to ask for drinks twice, and the bathroom could use attention.
This used to be a good place to eat. Now it is bland dry food. They don't even have a traditional gyro, no lamb blended meat. The service was very good we had to ask for things no offers or opinions, and we had to call her over most of the times we needed anything!
