So I normally love Olive Garden but I would not recommend the Mobile AL location at all. This is not our first bad experience but this one left me feeling sour. Our whole tables orders were wrong with the exception of my husband but his pasta dish had cold shrimp so there is that factor. The gluten free noodles had regular noodles mixed in with it and when my daughters meal came with meatballs instead of meat sauce the sauce was just brought out and added onto the other suace at the table. She can not have gluten so this notion bothered me seeing how meatballs have bread crumbs in them. Their side of grapes were rotten as well. To the point of having to be brought back to the kitchen and subbed for another side. What bothers me the most is that there was no apology from a kitchen staff member or manager when the whole order was a wreck. I get it is 2022 and there has been factors effecting eating out experiences but there has to still be decent food or taking responsibility for this sort of service. The only upside was that our waitress was very kind and doing her best to compensate for the mishaps.
One of the best restaurant experiences since covid has been around. They had plenty of staff. Not long of a wait. Everyone was friendly. Waitress was very nice and attentive. Food was excellent. Actually I need to call the manager and give them a thumbs up as well.
In my goodness.Best service and fantastic meals.I ordered the chicken Marsala.My taste buds were more and more excited with each bite. It even made great leftovers the next day.Randy ordered chicken shrimp carbonara.The combination of taste with the roasted red bell pepper, the sausage and all was great.Once again it made a good meal the next day.Will definitely get these two again
I love going to Olive Garden best place I’ve ever been, but I’ve never felt disrespected there before my recent visit. Now we did came in at 9pm and we already knew it’ll be kind of hectic so we made sure we already knew what we wanted. Our waitress Emily was very nice up until it was time for us to pay. Me and my friend were discussing how much we should tip and also how much we should take home. He suggested that we give her what was left over and that’s when she walked up to our table before I had a chance to say anything. After she left I told him that we would give her half of what was left over and take the rest to go with our gas money. With that being said when it was time for us to pay I just told her when she cashed us out go ahead and take half for your tip and we’ll take the rest of the change. She seemed confused and I guess she overheard us talking regarding giving her what was left over and I wish she heard the rest of the conversation. Yet before we even left the table we ourselves overheard her speaking badly about us to a coworker because she overheard some of a conversation. We would’ve liked to tip more given that how stressed she was, but we weren’t able to.
Arrived there from out of town with family, over 70% of tables available with nobody waiting in lobby but our family. The hostess told us about 30-40 minutes wait. We counted 7 employees around the bar doing nothing sitting around. Plus 4 girls around the hostess just chatting. The slowest service ever. Then when about to order they said several items unavailable because they didn't have the flour needed for breading. They could have easily mentioned that when menus were given. Just the worse experience so many employees not working. They need better management.
When we first got there we had to wait twenty minutes for drinks and breadsticks when several servers and the hostess seen us waiting for service. Team work is terrible and they should’ve communicated better and been more professional. Dispute that after moving to a different section the server Trace was awesome! Friendly and fast service.
Olive garden was pretty tasty. It's average Italian food. Restaurant is clean. But our server was AMAZING. He was so much fun and on point with service.
I was nit pleased with the service I received. I ordered soup and salad to be shared and I was brought out one bowl of soup with two spoons by Becka. I had to ask another waitor ( Ian)to get another bowl of soup after Becka had an empty bowl sent over. The table next to me with the same waitress they ordered soup and salad also and she brought out 3 individual books for each of them. That is unacceptable and with service like this I will never visit or recommend this store to anyone.
Called in a catering order, the whole staff from front to the back of the house went above & beyond! Not only did they have the whole order prepared & ready to go at the requested time but they also carried every bit of it to the car! Whole staff was super friendly & extremely helpful. The food was also AMAZING. Would recommend them for dine-in, takeout, or your catering needs. Five star ⭐️ staff & food! ??
This one was an experience! They just seemed to out of it this visit. The waitress was new and tried her best but we could tell even she was tired. We spent almost 3 hours there it felt like or longer, waiting for our food, waiting on the waitress, waiting on the manager, waiting for the bill... They ran out of items, suggested a substitute, and then wanted to charge us for it!! It was a lot after a long day's journey! And they didn't really seem to empathetic. 3 other couples came and left before us. And the last couple that sat next to us left before even bothering to order anything, they said they didn't want to deal with the drama. Lolol Hope they get it together, because a lot of us really love Olive Garden. :) The pasta was still really good though!
