I have been eating at O'Charley's since they first came to Mobile, then they set the bar for others as far as I was concerned. Over the years their brand has changed and i Might say not for the better. You had something that was working and you or some bean counter decided to fix it, bad decision. First it was the dropping of your signature Rib Eye Steak, now when my wife and myself stopped by today, you have dropped the Prime Rib. I said the last time I would not go back, but as they say the 3rd time is the charm. We had not been in a while so we stopped in today, My wife was very disappointed when she was told, no more Prime Rib, well she went for her backup, the Southern Pecan Chicken Salad, I ordered the Bone In Rib Eye, medium rare as that was as close to a rib eye you have now. Her salad was great, my steak, well they brought a slice of a ribeye out, less than 1/2 inch thick, no where medium rare and as tough as a utility grade steak as I have ever eaten. Now, this is no reflection on the restaurant itself, the manager or the gracious staff, they were amazing. This is a reflection on Corporate O'Charley's, you people are destroying yourself. I would pay more for a good Rib Eye like you used to serve and for the awesome Prime Rib you used to serve, but some bean counter is cutting corners for the sake of the bottom line. Like a said, 3rd time is a charm, you can consider me gone. The 4 stars are for the staff and our waitress, awesome.
I had the new Balsamic Glazed Chicken. So good. The portion of chicken seemed small but I understand in order to keep their prices low they have to do that. With a baked potato and broccoli it was still a filling meal. Kiley was an awesome server.

Morgan and Kaitlyn were so nice. They realized I had placed order at wrong location and helped me transfer it here. Put my order right in and was so nice about it. Reason I love using the schillengers location , they care.
Great place. Had a good valentines day meal with no wait. Mohammad was one of the best waiters I have ever had at any restaurant. He Kept up with drinks and anything we asked for he got it really quick. Heck I always forget to get onions and mushrooms when I am ordering steak and always have to add it when I get the food. He asked if I wanted onions at the time of ordering. Great guy.
Was told we could seat 7, so we go and when we get there they put 7 on a table that should seat 4. We tried to make the best of that so we went with it then tried ordering and about half the menu they didn't have. So we decided to try another restaurant, but was still charged $22 for drinks that no one touched. Regional Manager contacted me and made things right. Refreshing to know there are businesses that still care what their customers think!
Tiara was our server and I must say, she’s awesome. She was attentive and kept our drinks and rolls coming. My food was hot and delicious. She’s a joy to be around and I would ask for her again when I come again. Excellent service!!!
Went on Valentines Day for dinner and had no wait, super lucky. Our waiter Mohammad was amazing, he was so on top of our needs that my glass was never half full. Friendly and made sure we were taken care of and the food was amazing. My husband found a new favorite meal too. New go to date Night spot at the Schillingers rd. located in Mobile Alabama.
We signed in for a table of six and we were told about 30 minutes. As we are waiting we see them sit other large parties that arrived after us but we were seated at two tables with a six person table next to us. But we are hungry and order our food…I order the catfish, shrimp and chicken…Came with slaw and fry’s. The catfish was bland and the shrimp was over deep fried…Hard and tasteless….The chicken strips were also over fried. The slaw was dry but fresh…Just not to my taste. The only positive thing I can say about our dinner experience was our server Lyndon…Hope I spelled it right. Landon was continually checking to see if we needed anything and provided excellent service. We won’t be back anytime soon.
I ordered to go meals from Morgan on Sunday evening. She was so professional and made sure everything was packed just right. I frequent this location regularly and I’m never disappointed. Friendly service and management staff.
