This place has the best food. I got fried pork chops collards lima beans. Cornbread was so good too. I'll definitely be back before heading back to Maine. The people who work there are all very polite
We’re from New Orleans and know good food and this place not only has good food, they have exceptional food! From the time we walked in we were welcomed and treated so kindly. I cannot say enough about the food. All of our food was fresh, flavorful, and perfect. The variety is fantastic and I couldn’t decide what I wanted. We will definitely be back!
Honest review:This was my very first time trying Mary’s. I’m not from Alabama, but been here for three years. The food in this state is really good! Coworkers rave about this place so, I decided to try it. I was craving fish today and it’s Friday!Customer service was excellent! Everyone was kind!However, my favorite food is macaroni and cheese. I had high expectations for this mac. I was distraught after tasting it. The cheese did not stick to the noodles AT ALL. So basically I had cheese, then I had noodles. It wasn’t good at all! It was also very dry. Mind you, this was a fresh pan. I watched the lady pull it out.The yams were waaaaaayyyyyy too sweet and sat in a big bowl of sugar. I couldn’t even eat them.The fish was excellent! Very flavorful, crispy, and seasoned perfectly! It was the only thing that I tore down on the plate! One piece was plenty!I like that they have warm Hawaiian rolls too!I ordered sweet tea to drink, it was incredibly too sweet.Overall, it wasn’t the worst but most definitely not worth the hype. IF I go back, I would only get a piece of fried fish and a roll. For $20…. Absolutely not.
I was visiting my daughter in Lagrange, Georgia when I heard about this place.i made the roughly 3 1/2 hr drive and let me tell you it was well worth it..the prices on everything was surprisingly well below what I thought it would be especially with the good size portions you got..friendly service.lots of good vibes from the customers there.definitely a place worth checking out if close to this area.
By far the best buffet experience I’ve had in a long time. The food was top tier, just divine. Everything is definitely made with fresh ingredients and stayed hot the entire time my family and I were there. The price point was the cherry on the top, they are so very much affordable for my family of 6 that came to dine in. We don’t live in Alabama but the next time we are in mobile to visit family again, we will definitely be coming back to this buffet.

Got the chicken with Mac&cheese, cornbread and corn.The Mac and cheese was incredibly good. Cornbread was top level. The chicken was a little dry for me and under-seasoned, the corn was pretty good and had a unique taste. I'd love to come back and try something else.The staff were very welcoming and very warm.Bought the house recipe spice also and that thing is amazing. Use it on avocado, chicken, eggs ... Great stuff.
I absolutely love my experience here in this eatery and the food is absolutely delicious. They are so personable with everyone. I recommend it to all my friends and family and co-workers. Thanks to the entire team and staff for always taking excellent care of me.
The people were so nice and polite. I really enjoyed the ribs and broccoli/rice/cheese casserole. I also tried a bite of the smothered pork chops and gravy. That wasn't to my liking.
Love their Oxetail dinner but they need to relax their hands with putting too much gravy on the rice. I definitely recommend then for their great soul food .
