First time with our dogs, and it was a blast. There were several people there with their dogs, and our little golden doodle loves running around playing. The beer is cold and an excellent benefit for watching the dogs play.
I take my dog here for daycare and absolutely love it. The staff is wonderful and truly cares about each and every pet. They have drink specials most days for the typical dog bar experience. The outside area is great with enough enrichment opportunities for whatever your dog is into. My pup is always excited when we turn the corner and she can see HopHounds. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Our dogs love this spot. It's a great environment with well behaved dogs and you don't have to worry about the smaller breeds playing with the bigger ones. Great staff, great drink options too.
Cool concept if manged better and people used common sense not to bring their aggressive dogs. We were only there a short time before a white poodle with a mohawk attacked my 7-month old border collie. Instead of removing the aggressive dog, the owner simply put a shock collar on it and it was allowed to stay. Apparently others have had similar encounters with aggressive dogs allowed in. Sadly, we won't be returning.
Decided to take our 9 month old Doberman puppy to play…it did not go well. We arrived, presented our shot records and proceeded to the yard. Upon opening the gate to the yard, 4 dogs came up to greet ours…we had our dog on a leash because it was his first time. After less than 60 seconds one of the 4 dogs tried attacking mine! The owner of the dog (dogs name was Brody) just stood and said “bad boy”, didn’t apologize, didn’t try to make sure my dog was okay. We immediately walked back out. When we got to the counter to let them know we were leaving; the girl working was going to charge us $12.20…SERIOUSLY?! We literally didn’t even get our dog to the yard. After I asked her if she was seriously charging us, she said “I’ll just void it for you”, as if she was doing us a favor! NEVER AGAIN! We were not told anything about the yard or different areas when we arrived, just told to “have fun”. The girl didn’t even act concerned when I told her that one of the dogs attacked mine. The pics of this place showing people helping and watching out for the dogs is a complete joke!

My dogs and I love this place! Owners and staff are amazing and love each dog like their own! Their daycare is also amazing!! Getting to enjoy a beer at pick up is definitely a perk! Lucky to have a place like this in Mobile!
