Terrible hotel. The rooms have a terrible odor, I could not sleep all night because of the smell. Reception was kind enough to provide me a room directly below a floor which is being renovated, so in addition to the smell there was a lot of drilling noise. Never again.
We recently stayed there and it was great, very courteous staff excellent location. They are in the process of renovation and you should expect to see some items in the area that's the norm. We really enjoyed the Restaurant in the Hotel the Food was excellent. I wish they had more on-site parking We will be staying there again in the near future.
The hotel was in a good location and within walking distance of plenty of food and drinks.The room was very large and the bed was very comfortable.The skyview lounge was closed and the pool was closed the first day, which we weren't made aware of prior to booking.The pool isn't as advertised in pictures. It doesn't have chairs around it.
Pros - Excellent location; right downtown so an easy walk to restaurants and quick access to I-10. - Clean, refurbished rooms (very recently; some work still ongoing). - Decent rate for summer tourist season - Generally quiet (see cons). Cons - Skimpy free parking; you have to use the garage across the street if the hotel lot is full. - East facing rooms get the full effect of passing trains blowing their horns long and loud a few blocks away at night. - Sky view lounge not open during the week (if ever).
The room was spacious , clean, and cool just the way I like it. The only problem we had was fixed immediately , the staff was great, especially in the sky view lounge.
Probably will be perfect once renovations are completed. Staff was very nice .. just needs to updating which is already underway so I would absolutely stay again next time I'm in town. Great location close to everything.
We were looking forward to our stay at what seemed like a great hotel in s perfect location.Well the location was spot on.On arrival we thought we were in a warehouse. There were stacks and stacks of crates and cardboard boxes and a distinct smell of cardboard. You could not see the foyer or corridor for these.Reception staff were friendly at all times.On arrival at our floor the trash can was overflowing and bags of trash piled up next to it.Having settled in, explored to find a concert happening Judy a short walk away at the riverside which the reception had no idea about.., we came back to enjoy the views from the sky lounge. Only to find it locked. Peering through the glass door we got a peek of the amazing views but utter disappointment that we could not access them.Following morning more trash along with flies and odour by the elevator. We told reception and she said she would get it attended to. (All trash and trash cans had been removed when we returned later).Asking about the sky lounge she said they had not got the staff to open it. Seems they don’t have the staff to press the bed linen either!Overall a disappointing stay.

Extremely friendly staff. The entrance/lobby makes you feel like you're staying in a 5 star hotel. Our room was ok. I'm not sure how well they clean them. We found a pair of glasses on the floor next to the bed, and a cigarette but on the headboard. (Non-smoking room) The location is incredible, and perfect if you're heading out on a cruise.
Looks like the place is under renovation (March 2022). Very close to the main street in Mobile. Hallways smells like old carpet, but rooms are nice and comfy. The Gym would need a little refresh. Staff is nice
