I tried to use a coupon that had come in the mail 3 weeks ago for $6.99 for gizzard dinner. They insisted on charging me $7.99. They said the only add still current was the Mother's day add. I went and got that add out of the car and it also said $6.99. They still insisted with the coupon it would be $ 7.99. This restaurant does not honor their advertisement prices. Also sweet tea was just lightly colored water.
40 minutes wait time in drive thru today. Food was cold. No apologies from staff. Consistent long wait time in that particular drive thru.
Great food prices.. lady was very kind and friendly.. (manager extremely overworked ) same as almost everywhere else... No one wants to work.. it's extremely hard to hire quality help.. Yet she presses on.!!.
Gotta say I'm not satisfied with my visit today, spent almost 30 dollars and they left out my taters I ordered, chicken wasn't fresh hot and was pretty dry.Last time I had a great experience and love there seasoned batter... No knapkins or stuff to eat my Cole slaw with...Probably won't be going back in the future...
Neighborhood standards have been upheld for the last 20 some odd years. I expect it to be the standard for the next 20 years. Great for the community and those old girls does the brand a dedicated great service with reference to food. Hopefully, they're making more than 12 dollars an hour...
Rude customer service. I can deal with the wait time because the food is good, but the employees need to be retrained on people skills. The drive thru girl was rude and disrespectful. You are serving the public smile, don't rush people, be kind, nice, and considerate. Don't cut people off rudely and catch attitudes for people trying to place an order and then end the order before people are finished ordering. Review given while sitting in the drive thru.
Got the shrimp snack. Fresh as always and they got a new cocktail sauce FINALLY ( the last one..I believe marzetti was weird tasting to me. They know have Ken's which gives the horseradish kick I like).
There's not much more than anyone can add about Hartz Chicken other than what I'm about to tell you. First, Mark and the family; are great individuals. They have served our community as a business and community enhancers. They've helped our church family, they've helped our community, and they did everybody a Justice when they brought that slap your cousin flavored chicken for the state of Alabama. Hands down, the best chicken in the United States... I love Hartz Chicken.
HARTS chicken is some of the BEST chicken & coleslaw in Mobile, AL. However, they have an issue with CONSISTENCY. Sometimes the chicken moist and delicious and other times it's tough and chewy. A visit to Harts is unpredictably hit or miss. If they fix this, they'll hand's down rate 5 stars.
The fried chicken quality is hit and miss , today's visit was a hit They need to change the grese a whole lot more often .
