I luv this place, everyone was so friendly. This place has been n Mobile 99 yrs as of today. This is amazing to be able to say I ate at Mobile's Oldest Restaurant. My waitress was amazing as well. May God continue to bless her w/ much success. Try this place, u want b disappointed. I'll b bck to try their famous hot dog, what started the company.
My first visit, I have lived in the mobile area for 56 years and today was my first visit, the waitress was great, I didn't like the chili dog( little hard red weiners) yuck...I know its the original weiners; but still...yuck, the onion rings and cucumber salad was really good. My daughter said her burger was "the best burger she'd ever eaten". Grandson much enjoyed his BLT, and mom said her roast beef sandwich was lacking seasoning, but was ok. Love the old original building.

Consistent quality that can be a grilled cheese, red hotdog, pork chop or shrimp! Great vegetables and sides.
Went here for the history of the place. Awesome décor. The food is good too.
The Dew Drop Inn Restaurant is a 98 year old diner with a variety of options. We had a chicken salad sandwich (they don't offer a club sandwich) and a shrimp po boy. Sides of cole slaw were very good. Fries and onion rings pretty good. Sandwiches were very good. Sorry don't do cheap hot dogs so can't comment but that's what they are known for. Cute local place that was very busy with eat in and take out customers mid week.
Both the hot dog and the cheeseburger came with their chili on them. My wife thought the chili was similar to Cincinnati's skyline. She noted hints of nutmeg, but my palate isn't as sensitive. Regardless, both the dog and cheeseburger were awesome, and I can't wait to return!

Can't beat the chilli cheeseburger, fries and onion rings! I love consistency in a resturant! Service was excellent!
