Letisha was so sweet and cheered me up when I arrived at this Culver’s. She waited on me, and catered to my needs in regards to my food allergies. Very sweet lady!!!
We tried the shrimp dinner today. Coleslaw was fair. Shrimp are very small coated in thick, crunchy breading. Over abundance of slightly seasoned French fries.Service is excellent. I has coleslaw hanging outside of the container. It was replaced with an apology from the staff. Over all value with this meal was poor. Best to have their burgers, cheese curds and amazing custard. Will do that next time.
We gave this place a try a few weeks ago and we loved it! I had the best spicy chicken sandwich I've had in a minute, my hubby enjoyed his Burger and the cheese curds. They also have delicious gravy. The manager there was really kind and even told us how we could make a Poutine out of the gravy, fries and cheese curds! Very clean, well stocked and well kept.
Culver's is fantastic! It was worth the wait to get one built here in Mobile! My family and I have been fans of this place since we tried them in Tampa FL. If you love ice cream and have not yet tried frozen custard you are in for a TREAT! The thing that sets it apart from ice cream is that frozen custard has a richer, thicker, and creamier texture than ice cream. Let me tell you it is like frozen VELVET it is SO smooth and creamy!! Not only that, but they have premium add ins like cashews, pecans, fruit and assorted candies. Aside from the frozen custard (which is the star!!) they have some delicious, juicy burgers they call "Butter Burgers". Man oh man! The beef patties are grilled fresh to order *and* they butter and grill the buns!! (The Mushroom & Swiss Butter Burger is SO good!!) They even have fried cheese curds! If none of this strikes your fancy there are North Atlantic Cod plates and sandwiches, salads, roast beef sandwiches etc. It is a bit pricey but the quality is way over the top of regular fast food places. The staff and owner are VERY friendly and accommodating! Do yourself a favor and check out Culver's! It is wonderful!
This place was super underwhelming. The food was not good at all and the drive thru took ages. The patty on burger was literally flat and the onions were super thick. I basically had an onion burger. The patty on my chicken sandwich was the same patty you get from a Tyson pack of chicken patties. The shake was good. Everything else was not good at all.
We had the bacon butter burger basket with a side of cheese sauce and it was AMAZING!! Definitely one of my new favorite places! Can't wait to try several other things on the menu. Finished with a sample of the dark chocolate custard and I liked it so much I had to get a pint to go! Service was great and we were greeted by the manager at the end of the meal asking how everything was!! If you haven't been, you definitely should!!
My Mom and I went in on St. Patrick's Day and the staff were decked out!(see pic) Mom had the cod sandwich and cheese curds on and a chocolate mixer w/ salted caramel & pecans. She said it was all very tasty! I am eating keto so I had 2 patties w/cheese, bacon, pickle & lettuce. It was very filling and flavorful! Not gonna lie I had some cheese curds and they were great, too!
I got three Butter Burgers Deluxe meals for my husband, sister, and I. We came to Culver’s yesterday, my husband told me that Culver’s has great food, he had it in Oklahoma, but this was my first time having it. Husband loves the fried cheese curds, my sister likes the shakes. Drive Thru is closed right now, so you have to either Dine In or take you food To Go. It is pretty popular, it as busy both times we went. Pepsi products, Sweet Tea and Unsweet Tea here. Good custard/ shakes.
The first experience was excellent and inspired us to return, but the second one not so much.They made every effort to make sure everything was a great experience the first time, like a grand opening.Second time, not so much.No matter how good the food a " who cares" attitude will end me spending my money.
For years, I thought Wendy's Chili was the best I've eaten. Today was my first day to visit the new Culvers Restaurant in Mobile on Airport Blvd. I ordered the Deluxe Double Cheeseburger, George's Chili Supreme, and Vanilla Milkshake. I really enjoyed my meal, but now can claim that their George's Chili is better than Wendy's. I have now found my new favorite restaurant.
