Wonderful food! Best homemade Slaw!! Very small place, which we liked because it was so quaint. Not handicap accessible. We made do with popping the steps to get in and my husband muscling our pop in. We will be back! We got there around 11 and not busy but it filled quickly! By then we had our food and knew why! Our waitress was very sweet and worked her tail off alone in the front of the house but always stayed polite and happy!
Great Service - Great Food. This place is a little off the main downtown drag of Dauphin Street and is a small place - but the food is amazing. With a small, but mighty menu, you aren't overwhelmed at the possibilities. We eat in, we do carry out. Servers are always busy - I mean they are hustling! But they are never too busy to smile and be helpful. Services is fast (probably because of the menu) - so it's a great spot to be in and out of in an hour.
I'm pretty picky about barbecue. The meat and the sauce. This is by far the best barbecue and sauce I have ever had a my life. The coleslaw is also very good. Not sweet.

No one bothered to offer us refills on our drinks. All we ordered was meat, nothing else, no sides, but the service seemed to take forever. Very slow. Disappointed that they only offer sandwiches and salads, and not actual platters of meat or meat by the lb.
Absolutely loved the food!! It’s pretty small inside, but don’t let that fool you. I had the truly chicken salad sandwich and fries and man, oh man was it delicious. The fries are seasoned perfectly and the sandwich had the perfect balance. My family and I enjoyed every bit of our meal and the staff is so nice!
Yum!! Been wanting to try this place for yrs but it never worked with my schedule and their hours. Will definitely come again!
The food is always good, the service is awesome as well. The fries are seasoned with crack I believe. Pork is always tender and the potatoes are huge! Highly recommend this place or stop by the food truck. Clean high quality bbq and friendly service every visit.
