This is a fairly good breakfast restaurant. Staff are marginally warm, but they make it clear they're over-worked, as to lower expectations for good service.The food is pretty good. I went there because I wanted to have grits while I was in the South. The serve bacon, sausage, grits and a biscuit with the eggs breakfast.
Awesome hostess Brandy was. The food is sooo yummy. Will definitely go back.
We will start with the wait. After patiently waiting for an hour the host thought it was ok for her to seat our party of 10 at 2 different tables on Mother’s Day. After seeing a manager and getting that taken care of we finally got a seat and ordered our food. We then waited on our for for exactly 2 HOURS!!! This is not an exaggeration!! When we finally got our food my moms BLT bread was hard and my wife’s pancakes were cold. To top it off my mom got her food 30 minutes before the rest of us did. To top it all off we were charged for extra drinks we didn’t have and for cheese that we didn’t receive. The would be great if it were hot but they can’t seem to get it out on time. This is the 3rd time we’ve tried them and have had the same problems every time. We will never go back!

We’ve been here several times and always like the food, the atmosphere, the service. Breakfast or lunch, even their cocktails are delicious and creative! I really enjoy their omelettes (SBC is my fav), their shrimp n grits, and absolutely cannot resist ordering the Bananas in Pajamas!
Absolutely amazing bananas foster french toast. Total food coma afterward. Perfectly cooked bacon. Highly recommended.
**Edit for new review**Unfortunately Google will not let me re-review, even after 2 years so here is a new review.This place is still amazing. We came in today *3/6/22 around 9:45am* and had a great time. They have a sign up stating that there may be long wait times due to staffing issues. This was not the case for us. We waited about 5 minutes for a table and after we ordered our food came pretty quickly. Even if we had to wait, the food is definitely worth it. We got the Taste of the South, Shrimp and Crabcake Pasta, and the kid's pancakes. The food was delicious, the service was awesome, and it was just an all around great experience.****************One of my new favorite places to eat. Margaret was our server and she is awesome.
We recently tried the airport and schillinger location and it was horrible! Food was cold and servers were more worried about their phones then their table and we were the only ones in there. Today we came back to the B&S on airport by I65 and it was amazing! We sat at the bar and enjoyed the friendly service of Taylor (bonus fun fact he’s a Veteran) and the food all came out hot and that wow factor was there for sure! Portions are huge, hot and great service!!
After a 2 hour wait, we were seated. After 30+ mins, our order was taken. After ANOTHER HOUR, we got our food, cold of course. The server was nice but I think she forgot to put our orders in. The water was the best thing about this visit…… Maybe I’ll visit again in the future on a different day of the week.
