Returning customer here, been a tradition for 4 years of us coming to this spot for BBQ after Brick Pit closed and honestly nothing I've ever had can top this place. Best ribs I've tasted my whole life and I always make sure I bring some home too. 10/10 would recommend ?
Fall off the bone ribs and melt in your mouth brisket. I have not had anything that tasted so good
Let me start by saying the ribs were fantastic. Not what you expect when you drive up. Doesn't have your typical sides, no fries or baked beans. They did have deviled eggs. It's almost artisan, but with a backroads blend. Highly recommend.
Brisket was better than any I have ever had. I don't order it often, but this was an exceptional example. The ribs were very good, but the sauce was the reason you should eat here. This is the best BBQ sauce I have ever had. It isn't even close. It is better than Archibalds, or Dreamland. The staff was very nice and they had good music on. If you are in the area or even if you have to out of your way you should drop by! They don't really have vegetables so if that is your thing you should avoid this restaurant.
I had a rib plate for lunch and it was delicious and full of flavor. Good size portion for a fair price. Can't ask for more.
On a road trip with my husband, we were in the mood for some good southern bbq while passing through Alabama. We stopped at Bay BBQ in Mobile and were BLOWN AWAY! The flavor of the food was out of this world and the hospitality was superb! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Bay BBQ was outstanding!! I'm a Texas BBQ connoisseur and was totally impressed! The baby back ribs with its dry rub is excellent! The chicken 3 way plate was great too! I tried southern caviar for the first time. I admit that I was very skeptical when told that it was cold black-eyed pea salad, but it was very good too!
If your looking for good barbecue in the Mobile area, don’t look any further . The baby back ribs are amazingly tender and juicy. I ordered the “Midtown Plate” . The herbs and spice are perfectly blended together. And please don’t forget to dip your rib in the homemade barbecue sauce . You won’t be disappointed!
Great experience! They have a good menu selection and a few dishes I've never seen at other bbq places. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely return.
