Stopped by today for the first time and was VERY pleased with the service and my meal. I ordered the 3-meat dinner (ribs/sausages/chicken) with greens, yams, and a corn muffin. Soooo good! The serving was HUGE and the ribs were really good. The yams were a little too sweet (to me); but still delicious. The young lady that took my order was very nice. Will definitely be back to try other options. ????
I had a good experience at this restaurant. The food was good and the service was great. We didn't have to wait and waitress kind. I really like the way they have this restaurant setup with the monitors at the tables really makes the place look and feel comfortable. I give it a five stars.
I'd give the loop/midtown location 5/5 .. everything I've gotten there has been great! The Dauphin St. location is the problem. Waiting to be seated is a joke. No one bothers to greet you ..rather while customers were waiting to be seated about 4 or 5 employees were gathered around the bar laughing and talking rudely about a customer who had just left. As for the food, I heard the ribs were brought over from loop location. They were drenched in sauce. The potato salad wasn't seasoned at all. The yams were pitiful. I'll just stick with the take out at the Loop!
I got the rib Dinner with Baked beans and I also got a twice baked potato that was extremely tasty. I forgot to order my favorite good ole banana pudding but all the more reason to go back and eat soon. Highly recommend!
10/10. I had the pulled pork plate with greens and fries. The pork is delicious and the portion is generous. Flavor and texture are top notch. Where BBQ w/ My Honey truly excels are the sides. Usually sides never match up to the quality of the meat. Not here. The greens were meltingly tender and the fries crisp and perfectly seasoned. And the packaging was so thoughtful. Greens were below a layer of foil and fries were perched on top, staying hot, dry and crisp. I will definitely go back every time I’m in Mobile. Great job and thank you!!
Wow they changed locations and now there isn't hardly any meat on the ribs. I guess higher rent less meat smaller portions. Time to start trying other BBQ places.
The loaded fries are so delicious. The ribs were tender abd delicious. The lady was very friendly. The service is slow. I think the may need more help. The food was worth the wait.
I tried the rib dinner today with a few extra sides I ordered. The Ribs were to salty had to much bbq sauce which made them even more salty. The greens were out of the can and bitter. The potatoe salad was unseasoned mash potatoes. The Mac n cheese was OK but not enough season. The cornbread was burnt and tough. AND WHOMEVER IS IN THE DAM KITCHEN??? GET THEM OUT!!!!!!! HOW YOU MESS UP YAMS. THE YAMS WERE STRINGY, UNSWEET AND WATERED DOWN.. I AM IN TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT ?
Too cold, freezing, couldn’t enjoy the food, shivering too much. Ordered the half rack of ribs and chicken dinner. Ribs were ok, too much sauce, chicken was dry. Also ordered wings, Parmesan garlic flavor, no taste, was not good at all.
I ordered the 3 meat 2 side deal for pickup at 7:30, told them that I had a gift certificate to cover payment. I got there and was told the Airport location didn't take them so I wouldn't get my order. Thankfully an employee who had gotten off heard the exchange and came back inside and knew how to ring me up. Shout out to Erica! That's why the 1 star rating. The ribs, chicken and sausage was dry, dry and over sauced to cover the fact that they were dried out. Jerky with two sloppy sides. I'm so disappointed!
