First time visiting, Very Friendly staff .I ordered Shrimp Fajitas and a Chicken Quesadilla, both were very tasty .I’ll be back to try other choices.
I've been to this restaurant previously with no problems this time I went back and it seemed nothing was done right the red sauce for the enchiladas was thick and pasty and just put on top of the enchiladas when normally it's a poopy consistency and it's real all over my enchiladas running off on the plate and even the house salsa that's given free with chips it didn't taste right something didn't taste right somebody's in there cooking Mexican food that does not know how to cook Mexican food very disappointed previously it was excellent I don't know if it's changed management hands ownership or what but it's not going to last long
THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD IN MOBILE!!! They also serve BBQ on the weekends(per the owner). My husband had steak and chicken tacos and I had the chimichanga(DELICIOUS)! They have a Mexican pizza that will blow your mind. We didn't order that but saw it at another table! ?? Amelia's is amazing, the environment is very nice and you can't go wrong with their food! Seriously, try it!
We discovered this place by accident. It is now my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant. Good food good atmosphere great wait staff love the owners. They love my service dogs.
Food was ok but a little pricy for what you get. Waitress was great. Needs some repairs to front entrance
Visiting from our of town and loved this place! Our waitress was super sweet and attentive, and even made suggestions on what not to get or what to get, based on our particular likes! Truly appreciate that. Food was served quickly and very tasty
Salsa was bland. And the fajitas were very greasy. Take a look at the picture of the fajita skillet. Not in the least bit impressed with the flavors or quality of my food.
Lunchtime Dogfood. I ordered a ground beef chimichanga that had the consistency of canned dogged food and the taste was not any better. Luckily I had ordered cheese dip so I actually got something that I could eat while my companion ate her steak chimichanga that she said was palatable at best but was too hungry not to eat it. $ 40 later and we will definitely never go back
Chicken wings were very good. Queso with jalapeno didn't really get much of the jalapeno flavor. Shrimp cocktail had lots of shrimp. The only complaint, a large party with lots of children were seated by us. They were loud and not particularly well behaved. We had ordered a drink, once this party came in it was forgotten. I finally went in search of our waitress, requested cancel of drink and please bring the bill. She was apologetic.
First time ever eating there and I placed a call in. Want to say that the lady who helped me over the phone was extremely polite and very helpful. I would also like to mention the food was phenomenal. I had a steak mexican pizza and it was delicious. Very filling and well worth the money spent. 10/10 can't wait to eat here again and try more of the menu.
