Fantastic place, staff is very friendly and the food is great!
Al's has been a must-have every time I'm in Mobile because everything I've had is delicious. Be sure to try the hot dog dressed all the way and the potato salad is the best I've ever had. Today, I tried the crawfish etoufee and it was flavorful with just the right spice.
This is a good place to get good hot dogs and burgers, you can have good potato salad, coleslaw or chips with those items if you are hungry. They have many other meal options also. I saw nachos here also. The place seems clean and safe and the staff are kind and helpful to get you your meals. There is plenty of parking to help make it easy to use.
That is not an also hot dog, the cheese and chilli turns into water before u get to airport. The real als cheese and chilli stay till you ready eat. Cutting cheese and chilli??️?thickened the engredients back up . Business will double $$$_I'm from downtown the original.
The food is good - yeah, it’s simple fair - but it’s a hotdog shop and it’s as you would expect. But good food - nothing wrong with the place at all - except that they have some very limited hours of operation! Oh - they do also have other fine foods as well.

Food is good was a little turned off that I was charged an extra fifty cents for more chili after spending over $30 especially when it was small servings

Al’s Hotdogs goes beyond and above for their customers!! This week, my Visa card got cancelled and I only had American Express. Although they do not accept AMEX (I don’t blame them, their fees are crazy!), one of their employee’s offered to let me pay my ticket the next time I visited them. This extra kindness and understanding on a busy day like today was very much appreciated! I went back and paid my ticket as soon as possible and couldn’t help to leave them a tip as the Mobile community appreciates kind small business owners like Al’s Hotdogs!!
