Dining area substandard.Tables, floor, benches, chairs, ice and drink area disgusting. Need to be wiped down daily No one was servicing the dining area and they weren't very busy to prevent store maintenance.No napkins or condiments in service area.Counter clerk has been trained very well. She introduced herself, took the order, then confirmed the order.Do better Zaxby's, every other store puts you to shame in the dining area conditions.
Customer Service is at a all time low at this place!!! I visited this location to purchase a salad for lunch. Two teenagers were OUTSIDE taking orders in currency in 100+ degrees. Both of them were nice and pleasant. I drove up to the window and sat there for about 5 minutes before someone approached the window. NO ONE was in front of me. An older black lady opens the window, no greeting, no smile, no eye contact... I asked for a cup of ice, the window slams shut. I sat there checking my bag. Suddenly, the window opens and a cup and straw appears. I then asked to PURCHASE an additional dressing for my salad. The window slams shut AGAIN. I sat there. The window opens and a swift hand holding a packet of salad dressing appears and I finally hear a disgruntle voice say, "Have a nice day". I guess she was NOT going to give me a chance to ask for anything else. I called the location and spoke to the Manager. I would kind of expect a little attitude from the two (2) teenagers standing in the blazing heat but not a seasoned woman who is working inside with the AC blowing. Now is not the time to be rude to customers. We are what pays "your" pay check. I will be contacting the Corporate office.
Purchased a salad yesterday and it was nothing but lettuce and a few chunks of tomatoes. Purchased a nibbler combo today and I opened the box to everything thrown around and 1 of the 3 nibbles was missing a chicken finger!!! The quality here is unacceptable and I hate to say but I will not be back until I know it's better. I have issues with the salads quiet often. They look nothing like they are supposed to.
Madison Alabama, this Zaxby's has to be the worst fast food restaurant, I have ever experienced. I don't even eat McDonald's. Sloppy and poor service. Rather go hungry.
Leadership is everything. Today after being called a [email protected]# in the drive through by one of the young workers, Yolanda (manager) decided to meet me in the drive through line. Her demeanor, neck rolls, and tone was completely out of line. They (all of the young ladies on todays shift and the managers need training)! Even with gas prices being high, I will pass this store from now on and spend my money at Chick-fil-A! At least I’ll be greeted with a smile.
So, I really do enjoy eating at Zaxby's. They have always had great service and great food. However, the one located on Ivory Place is mediocre when it comes to their food. The food isn't as good as the University Zaxby's. Their service here at Ivory Place is AWFUL. I had a mobile order and picked it up through the drive-thru since it wasn't busy. Keep in mind this was BEFORE they changed it where you could no longer pick them up at the drive-thru. The drive-thru employee couldn't find my order and insisted that my order never existed even after I showed them my emails, receipts, etc. Another employee miraculously found it. They handed me my food and just shook their head. Which is fine, I got my food and moved on. Then I go several weeks later to pick up my mobile order and a lady was standing outside to take orders. I told her I had a mobile order and she said I had to go inside to pick it up. I told her "Oh, ok! I'm sorry I didn't realize that it was changed." and she responded with "DiDn'T yOu ReAd ThE sIgN?!" I don't know what I said or did to deserve that sort of attitude but figured she was just having a bad day. I parked and went inside to get my food. They have a shelf that has signs that are sectioning off orders. I checked the online order section and there wasn't anything there. There was an order on the top shelf for a delivery service so I didn't even think to check that. I asked the employee behind the counter about my order and he asked if I checked the shelf. I said that I did but the only order that was there was for the delivery service. He said, "Oh, ok." and then just walked away. I waited for about 10 minutes before deciding to check the delivery order to see if it was mine. It was mine just in the wrong section so then my food was cold. Now I know to check all orders during covid regardless of the signs that they have out. So, I go to the Ivory Place Zaxby's on 2/1/2022 around 5:30. They weren't that busy. Usually, when they aren't busy they don't have someone outside taking orders by their stop sign. I slowed down, looked around, and didn't see anyone near the stop sign. I approach the stop sign and a female employee comes running across the parking lot and points at the sign dramatically like I couldn't read and I was a complete moron. I overlooked that and proceeded to order. She wasn't rude but just acted like she hated her job. When she pointed at the sign like I was an idiot and couldn't read I ALMOST just drove off and got dinner elsewhere. I will say that I will NEVER come back here again. I work customer service and understand that we all have bad days and hate our jobs. However, I can get better service somewhere else.
My family and I just went through the drive-thru at this location. I have worked in the restaurant industry for most of my life, so I make it a point to be as polite as possible when ordering fast food, but the young lady taking my order was rude, consistently cutting me off, and rushing me to order. When I got to the window she took my card so fast I could not let her now that I wanted extra sauces. When she gave me my card I asked for the sauces, she explain to me the price and I handed her my card back and she rolled her eyes at me. I asked for my receipt and she told me that the printer was broken which I replied that you should be able to get it from the front printer. She completely ignored me. I asked her name and she said her name was “Zoe”. My mushrooms were cold and I actually bit one that was still frozen. I never expected to have such an experience at zaxby’s and can’t understand why you would even keep and employee like that around. Times are hard, but being desperate ruins companies.
Food was fast, hot and fresh, People were in training and they made a mistake, the manager was amazing. Service was fast and friendly. We Enjoyed our meal in the clean lobby. I Recommend this Zaxby’s location to everyone.
Great location and great chicken meals. You need to try the Kick'n Chicken sandwich meal. (Juicy, spicy and great taste)
great service and hopefully tvs are added in the future.
