Genuinely the worst pizza I've had in a long time. I ordered doordash so I don't expect it to be as fresh as it would be in the restaurant itself, but my dasher was waiting there for 10 minutes before they gave her my order, and she only had 2 miles to drive to get it to my apartment. Pizza was barely luke warm, it looked and tasted like a frozen pizza that someone heated up and then let sit on the counter for an hour. The cheese bread was burnt. Not kinda black from the pizza oven, but full on burnt. This was the first time I've ever eaten here and it will be the last.
Sadly prices went up but I still love this place. In CA we have Blaze or Pieology which must train their employees to ask in a frustrated voice "is there anything else" after applying a tiny amount of toppings... this isn't the case at Mod Pizza! They make a delicious, no anxiety, vegan pizza for me that I love (thick crust, red sauce, no cheese, lots of all the veggies, and fig balsamic for the win at the end) and I will be back again and again with my family. I love places where we all can get something delicious, no matter our dietary needs.
This is the saddest pizza I have ever had in my entire life! I am absolutely shocked that this place has an average 4 star review. The pizza was barely edible. Literally a $4 frozen pizza from Walmart would've been better. For the ones who actually think that their pizza taste good, you either have taste buds of a three year old child, or you’ve never had a good slice of pizza before. I highly recommend never going there. Save your time and money and go somewhere else, honestly anywhere else, and I promise you will be happier. Just look how sad this slice of pizza looks!
***Inefficiency at its Finest***The food is good. I will return because, despite my recent visit, I do like their food.Oh how I want to like this place. Owner, look for an email about my situation. My rub for this place is their process of ordering (and apparently reordering).A person is trained to write an order down in a sheet of paper, then I wait in a line and watch as teenagers build a sloppy order representation without communication. Drifting along this silent line; my initial verbal order written on paper somehow disappears into oblivion. Several people round the corner. My teenage daughter wonders around with her salad and grabs a drink(thinking it’s self serve). I turn the corner and am asked what I ordered! What? How do you not know what I ordered? I’m supposed to recall what my daughter, my wife and myself have ordered? Where are the detailed order inscribed papers? How do you know my pizza salad isn’t called out as a water and No Name cake?Maybe I’m missing something and don’t understand something here. Overall though I am not impressed with the lackluster customer service.***Update***I still do not understand this lousy line ordering process. It seems as though no proper communication or social skills training exists. I’m saddened by our social system. Everyone seemingly wanting to be connected yet lack fundamental introduction statements. Excuse my tangent. The food was good and we will most likely return because of the food. I will try learning more patience in this dysfunctional line. Thanks to the GM for being an upstanding individual.
This place is now one of my favorite pizza places in town! Build your own pizza with delicious fresh ingredients. The staff is quick and professional. Go now, your stomach will thank you later. They don't have delivery but you can get it delivered via door dash and Uber eats.
First time visiting this one for lunch and I must say I really enjoyed it. I love the "create your own", almost subway style pizza creation. They will make your custom pizza right in front of you and then cook it fresh while you grab a fountain drink and have a seat in their dine in facility. Great lunch option, I'll be back to try it again for sure.
Another great visit to MOD Pizza. It was clean and the service was great. The guy building my pizza was really nice and didn't rush me at all as I made decisions on what I wanted on my pizza. The pizza was great too. The only negative was the edges of my pizza was slightly burnt..some people like that taste, but it is not for me. However, it wasn't enough that I would drop a star on my rating. The visit still deserved 5-stars.
Brilliant pizza place! The staff was friendly and helpful. The sauces and topping choices were great. You can build your own pizza for a fraction of the price of the chain restaurants' basic pies.It was DELICIOUS. And the prices are great. Honestly, I don't think we'll be going back to the chain pizza places anymore.10/10 would recommend.
Friendly staff, super clean establishment, and food that is made-to-order. The vibe is very "mod" and the environment works great for a casual bite to eat. I ordered a Mod pizza with red sauce, spinach, mushrooms, black olives, roma tomatoes, a little garlic paste, a little oregano, mozzarella cheese, a little parmesan cheese, mild sausage, ground beef, and pepperoni. The crust was cooked perfectly - slight crispiness to the bottom and firm under all of the toppings. The food cooked quickly, so don't rule this place out thinking it'll take too long. The blackberry lemonade is super sweet and has the bite of a strong lemonade. I look forward to returning for many more meals. As a side note, they had even salted the sidewalk in preparation for today's winter weather - kudos to you, MOD Pizza!
Awesome pizza. Of course I chose my ingredients. But they cooked it perfectly. Fresh toppings. Love this place.
