Food was so-so, nothing to write home about. Thursday special was meatloaf; more filler and tomato juice. Mashed potatoes were not very flavorful, fried okra ok.
My son and I walked into the restaurant, was welcome with a big smile, and seated right away. I ordered the country fried steak breakfast which was all cooked fresh and delicious. They made a Micky mouse pancake for my son which he enjoyed. I tasted the pancakes and they were light and fluffy. Great pancakes! The customer service was exceptional. We will definitely be going back.
Ordered and ate breakfast this morning. I ordered country fried steak and eggs, my wife ordered scrambled eggs and sausage. Food and service was good but way, way to much. I left biscuits and gravy, untouched,My wife left 2 of 3 sausages and half of her English muffins uneaten. Will certainly go back, but not let our eyes over load our stomachs.
The place was friendly and the food was great. I got breakfast there. The cost was low! . I visit several places on my travels and this place is at the top of my list!
Our go to place for lunches. Everyone is very pleasant and helpful. Food is yummy.
Very friendly staff. The food is pretty good, you'll need to add your own salt/pepper to grits and eggs, but I don't think that's a bad thing. After ordering, our food arrived pretty quickly. It was hot and fresh.We walked in and were seated right away around 8 a.m. both times we came. Once after Daylight Savings and the other was a Friday. So it's not the best representation of how crowded it can get, as we've seen a line before.I wasn't too fond of the seating. There were no dividers between the booths. My head was about 5 inches away from the person behind me. Thankfully they left to pay shortly after we were seated. Aside from Covid, I don't want to sot that close to a stranger while I'm eating.We'll likely be back, as long as it's not crowded.

It was an average breakfast. I would give them another chance but plan to wait a bit on Saturday mornings.
Love this place. I got poached eggs and they were outstanding!!!! Great place for breakfast and reasonably priced as well.
Scratch this off our list! Our experience doesn't even deserve one star. Not one person at our table found the food edible. Blue Plate has nothing to worry about.
