The brunswick stew is an atrocious, pitiful excuse of a stew. Unless you like straight boiled onion flavor and nothing else..... actually even then I dont suggest it for yall weirdos either. It was a waste of time money and effort.
I'm a regular visitor at this location, every "Tater Tuesday" that comes around. While most of the time, we go for the tater special, I've expanded to try other menu choices, also worth trying. Hint: if you don't want to sit in the drive thru line, park out back and walk in. I often do this and beat the drive thru line by a long shot. Sorry window service...walk in is beating you.
LawLers is always good, but yesterday was next level greatness. Turkey and pork potato, prob best I ever had in my life. I knew it was gonna be good when I felt how heavy the container was. Potato was so good it made me sleep better, slept through the night. I don't know if they baptized this potato or what but everything was tender and moist.
This was the worst pulled pork I think I've ever had. It was swimming in liquid and the smoke flavor actually tasted artificial. Don't expect I'll be back.
I have been coming to this restaurant for years (they've known me by name for quite a while now), and I don't believe I've ever really had a problem with how they handle the business. The staff has always been friendly, the food has always been good, and the atmosphere has always been welcoming. (I don't think I've ever seen a bad health score, either; always in the 90's, I think.)Now that I'm leaving the area, I am going to miss them. The food is great, but the people are better. I'd name them, but I don't know how they'd feel about that, so just take this as my gratitude to you all for being as kind, courteous, and compassionate as you are. You all really do make the whole experience there worth it for me to come back every time. Great food is one thing, but great people take the experience to another level that can be hard to come by.Thanks again for all of your help over the years, and take care. I'll try to stop by when I'm in town to visit.
loved the huge super Stuffie tater with pork and vinegar (non-mayo) which was about 2lbs...
Phenomenal customer service, a pleasure to be treated with great customer service. I ordered a stuffed potato, it was mouthwateringly delicious and I would highly recommend them to my friends and ordering from you again.
These folks are doing a great job!I thought they had left our sides out of a rib plate, but they were under the ribs. Thanks to the friendly guidance of the manager, I was able to find them. Next time I’ll look more carefully before calling.
We made a DoorDash order and when it received, the restaurant failed to pack our sides. The ribs were tough, obviously had been sitting for awhile. The pulled pork was either bad, or extremely over-seasoned. This was the worst barbecue I’ve ever had.
I definitely come here way too often. Super good barbecue for the price point. Love the quarter ribs and potato salad!
