My husband really enjoyed the brisket sandwich! The blackened chicken was good but the salad greens were icy .
Guess I visited on the wrong day. I pass by this place twice a day for the past 6 years, so I finally visited. Awesome, right? Nope! The whole time I felt like I was burden to the staff and I was the only one at the bar.Everybody was too busy doing something else. I had to initiate with the bartender just for her to take my order and I had to get my own napkins. Staff walked passed me like I didn't even exist. Seriously, I was excited to finally try this place and eat a big juicy burger and try a couple of cool beers and nobody cared. Anyways, great food, great beer but service could have been better. Look, I get it, when its slow even one customer can seem like a lot. Ill be back! No hard feelings but 2 stars for now!
Hands down best pizza in Huntsville. So unique and absolutely delicious. You will not get better pizza in Huntsville, maybe anywhere else either. We ordered the Notorious P.I.E., the original and El “beer”ia and we could not get enough. I cannot WAIT to come back. Might be here tomorrow who knows.
Fantastic food. The wings were really really good. Tasted fresh and the sauce was amazing!! The beer was great too. Erin was our sever and she did a great job taking care of us. Kei and Nick (the owners) were very polite. I ordered the wings without realizing the BBQ had peanuts on it. Ashame because the sauce was AWESOME.
I was not impressed not with the service the food or the atmosphere. Went in on a Saturday afternoon we were one of three tables.. a good 15 minutes went by before we were greeted at the table.. Another 10 minutes to get water.. Another 15 to get a beer served with a warm glass. Went with and friend, she ordered a pizza she was done eating before my burger even came out... All total it took us 2 hours to get out of there.. Probably won't go back again.
I popped in for a quick lunch with my son. I was not disappointed. The place was extremely clean. The bathroom was very clean, and usually that is a sign that the kitchen is clean as well. I had a side salad, it was quite large, and it was very fancy, with pickled red onions and even pepitas. The deep dish Detroit style pizza we shared was definitely enough, and it tasted fresh with deep flavors. The owners were present and you could tell that they care. I gathered that they are closed on Sunday and Monday, but stop by and check them out for lunch or dinner, I doubt you will be disappointed.
We’ve gotten takeout from this place several times. Great pizza and interesting flavors!! It’s delicious and reheats well too for leftovers. Yummy soft pretzel too. The salads are pretty good, and we’ve enjoyed their seasonal pasta specials when they’ve had them. We’ve never had Detroit style pizza outside of this place, but so far we like it!!
The food is great. The pretzel is ginormus and the sauce it comes with is delicious. Very friendly wait staff. It seems the kitchen is what slows this place down. 30+ minutes wait for 2 hamburgers is to long. Also not sure if the mistakes on the orders is the wait staff or the kitchen. Like ordering regular fries instead of rosemary fries and the dish comes out with rosemary fries. The waitress did bring out regular fries right after I asked. The selection of beers is also top notch.I like the place but is hard to love with all the mistakes at this price. One is ordering the brussel sprouts and not getting them. At least they werent on my bill.
Went on a Friday at 6:30 and was surprised they weren't busier. Now I know why.Drinks took almost 30 minutes to get the first round, kinda odd for a place called a Pour House. Water glasses sat empty on the table for a while, multiple times. Food arrived almost an hour after we ordered, it was good food at least. But two of the 5 orders weren't quite correct. Wrong protein on a salad and a missing side for the other. The icing on the cake was the 25 min wait for our checks. We almost just left cash on the table and walked out. The waitress was awful, the bar was slow to pour and the kitchen was even slower.Best guess was 6 wait staff (1 dedicated bar and 1 busser) for about 8 or 9 tables that ranged fairly evenly between 2 tops and 5 tops.No intention of returning.
Goodland Pour House is my current obsession, I can't get enough of the tater tots! My husband likes the fish and chips and I love the burgers. They have a fantastic beer menu. The waitresses are great, not too long a wait, and the restaurant is nice and clean.
